I’ve never seen one that high. Places I’ve stayed have been like a $100-150 flat rate. For a week in a house that holds 6-8 people that's not bad.

Suggesting tipping $10/person/day is a good advertisement for using Airbnb instead of hotels.
That 50% thing might work in Oklahoma or on a Harvard professor’s salary, but it barely covers rent/mortgage for median income and median housing costs in many places. Once again Boomer advice doesn't match up with the reality that Boomers created.
That sounds like a good way to spread contamination.
Depending on the type of redemption center, it can be great entertainment for toddlers as well. The scanners on the ones near me work at about the same rate as a toddler.
You cut that out! The comment section is no place for reason and logic!
Not a metal recycler exactly, but there are centers for bottles and cans in every city/state I’ve lived in for the last decade. It’s not much money, but it’s worth the 10 min it takes to drop off a load. Definitely worth having a separate small bin and not mixing them with the other stuff.

For example, you may not be able to get the sweet deal if you're there for work or as a student. So, always look before you go and…
Download the local maps from Google maps before you go. Even with cell service turned off, your gps will work. So, if you have the maps saved you can use them.
That last sentence is perfection. Thank you
Reminder, if you gift one of these god forsaken things to someone, then you're an asshole.
I just want to apologize for only having one star to give to this comment
If salads are fine without it, then we should mention sandwiches and burgers are ruined by its addition.
I started growing my own because I love the green onions you get at a good Japanese restaurant. Half the time the ones from the grocery store are too strong/too sulfuric to be used in delicate recipes. Depending on the seed source, I've seen them called negi or Japanese bunch onions, or misnamed as Japanese leeks.…
