Seems like the texture would be completely different (way more crunchy), but it would still go well with some kewpie and okonomiyaki sauce.

I think you’re autocorrect is acting up again. It’s spelled “delicious”

Spices: Bulk aisle or the international/ethnic aisle. Depending on what you’re looking for, the stuff in the Mexican or Indian section can be significantly cheaper than what’s in the spice aisle.

One local store i go to some times is one that hits you with the “must buy 3" to get that price. It’s annoying.

How to save money on groceries: stop buying organic.

Thankfully we live in a country where the president can’t have your family members arrested because of something you said, for now.

Canned beans are a great option when time is a factor. When time isn’t an issue, Costco has 25 lb bags of pintos for around $12.

I don’t have exact numbers in front of me, but my average grocery bill took a huge dip as I tried to stop eating out then went back up as I’ve tried to eat better. Fresh produce is pricy. You can really save a lot of money by filling up on carbs and generally eating like trash.

I crunched the numbers for myself, and hitting different stores for different items makes sense in my situation. It’s typically a Costco run every 2 weeks and one of two alternating grocery stores every week. All 3 are between my home and work, so there’s no extra gas and time is minimal.

$50/month? I mean, I could “live” on that, but is that really living? I prefer to eat more than just beans and rice. Meat and fresh vegetables make up the bulk of my overpriced diet.

No, but I’m at a point in life where it takes something pretty specal to get me to the theater.

I was curious about this when I heard the interview. Of course, I was assuming 1 and done would still be a thing, sonI was trying to figure out if he’d go G-League or Overseas. I think NCAA is out of the question.

Did you hear the actual quote/interview? He sounded more excited about the prospect of playing against his son. Gotta put them youngsters in their place.

This sounds more like a stereotype from an 80s or early 90s movie than anything I’ve ever encountered in the US. It’s 2018! No one uses a .38 anymore. They’ve all been replace s by 9mms.

Same for Germany when I was there. If you didn’t stock up ahead of time then your best bet to find food was at a train station. The grocery stores being closed on Sundays was annoying for someone who worked during the rest of the week and had limited transportation.

As far as holidays, I’d recommend you avoid Japan during Golden Week (end of April - beginning of May*). It’s a cluster of like 4 holidays in one week. Everything is extremely busy, which in turn causes prices to go up. Trains, planes, hotels, religious sites, and tourist attractions will be packed, and no I don’t

There is a very paternalistic and patronizing tone in your comment. Sounds like you might need to do a cleanse to purge some toxins, practice yoga to align your chakras, then drink some rhino horn or tiger penis tea, and get laid.

Look at the areas around DFW and Austin TX or suburbs around KC. Fairly liberal areas compared to their surroundings and more anti-vaxxers. Besides, this is only areas with reported philosophical or religious exemptions for school kids. A lot of the more liberal anti-vaccines hotspots like California and Hawaii aren’t

The Toyotas tend to be pretty good on mileage. Some of the other manufacturers models aren’t enough of an improvement to justify the extra cost in my mind. I know several people who boast about their hybrids that barely get 1-2 mpg better than the base model. As with all things, your mileage may vary.
