The gaming industry has prospered greatly during this increasing economic crisis so I don't see this as a shocker. I don't see studios closing in relation to consumers buying 360's and Zunes either since Ensemble was mainly a PC developer

Am I the only one that thinks this game looks more fun than GTA IV? This is what GTA used to be, before it got boring, repetitive and took itself a bit too seriously. Saints Row can laugh at itself and looks like a blast.

Well obviously. This was advertised in all major retailers and the fact that it's cheaper than the Wii must have swayed a lot of people who otherwise could only afford the Wii. Some stores evens sweetened the deal by providing a store gift card with the purchase of one.

I'm wondering. If this game was called "Negro Massacre" would Kotaku have covered it and even play it? Would you want to play a game where you just go around killing black people just for the hell of it? Would the comments be as ignorant as this? I understand that "muslims" are the world's accepted enemy now, but…
