This seems like a very specific set of issues better handled by creating a Facebook event. Not only does it address all the issues brought up above by giving people a chance to interact, it’s easier on the host for a headcount than combing through dozens of ‘reply all' e-mails. 

I also can’t remember the last time my group of friends planned anything via e-mail. For small get togethers, it’s all basically text or chat. If you’re planning something larger/more formal, then it’s some kind of e-vite. That avoids a reply-allpocalypse and still lets everyone see the invite list.

Dear Rainbow,

I don’t even have kids and I do this many Friday nights and it’s wonderful. i feel like it helps me enjoy the fun things I have planned for Saturday and Sunday more because I’m rested and ready to go out.

I’m so disappointed in these recommendations and the fact the so much of Saint Paul was left off this list because it’s considered “boring”. I lived in MSP for two years and although I wanted to stay in Minneapolis, it made more sense (for commuting purposes) to stay in St Paul. So glad I did!
