my youngest brother has an ipad mini. he dropped it and the glass only broke because the corner got smashed in. he even tried to replace the glass, only to fail because he couldn't get the new glass in without breaking it because of the smashed in corner

but they made this mock-up to show off their "industrial design work". But it sticks out to at least me that they would over look this design flaw. it makes them look unprofessional

aluminium is weak to drops. just look at any device that is made from aluminium. i've seen iPhones to HTC ones have dented corners, dented backs, scratched backs. take a look at almost all phone glass cracks, they all start from a corner. or watch any 'drop test' video. most of the time they all land on a corner first.

who the hell came up with this design? who thought that putting a speaker grill in the corner of the device was/is a good idea? one of the strongest parts/points on a device, lets just put a bunch of holes in it

what is this!? no result for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! back to the future! scott pilgrim! ! or Firefly!! I'm done with this site...

I'm sorry but the pokenerd in me is screaming to get out that the ORIGINAL POKEMON GAMES WERE RED AND GREEN!!! not red and blue. and now my inner pokenerd is telling me I must have this

The LG 'GW300'

thunderbolt? take a closer look. that there is the standard of every phone, micro usb.

no. android has a security feature where NFC will not engage when the screen is off or on the lock screen. this was implemented for two reasons: 1)battery life 2) mobile wallet security

I think this has been in android since jellybean. I have both the nexus 4 and 5 and they both have done this to me. thank god for exposed

i love how people were against this sort of thing when Google first did it YEARS AGO with Google Latitude, spewing 'privacy control issues' around everywhere. but are all for it and 'hey this is so useful' or 'why didn't someone do this before' when apple and Facebook release the exact same thing years later

that machine is going to violate that poor gameboy!

the N4 does not have magnets niether does the N7 2012. the N5 and the N7 (2013) have magnets. the magnets in the phone aren't that strong ( i just tried to pickup paperclips with my N5, no dice) the ones in the wireless charger are the ones actually doing the work.

phil from android central shows the magnetic hold best

*chuckles* my Nexus 5 and nexus 7 already have magnets in them. no case required (and on the back). also they are strong enough to hold onto something (ex the official nexus wireless charger) but not to wipe your credit card

are you kidding? Qi IS the standard
LG (10 phones), Samsung (6 phones), Google (3 devices), Nokia (9 phones), blackberry (1 phone), HTC (5 phones), Motorola (6 phones), Energizer (accessories) (just to name a few) all support Qi wireless charging in their devices and accessories.

this is a lockscreen replacement not a homescreen replacement

buy the phone from AT&T for $200. download the Google Play Edition ROM. unlock the bootloader (this will wipe phone). install/boot a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, etc) and flash the GPE ROM. now you have google play edition for $200

you don't need to root a device to install a ROM. you need to unlock the bootloader to install/boot a custom recovery to flash ROMs and mods. and most/all custom ROMs (cyanogen mod, slimkat, etc) are already pre-rooted. All timgrey needs to do is install the Google Play Edition ROM to get stock android. no need to

another f***ing Jbs movie!?
