“and that you only point it at things you want dead or destroyed”
But can you TURN OFF the g*dawful music???? It’s soooooo incredibly distracting! When I play MK on my Wii U, I just have to turn the volume completely down or I’ll go nuts&bonkers. I honestly can’t play with all those hysterically tooting trumpets.
What does the mom say at the end? Don’t eat with dirty clothes?
Yeah but that design is decades old. Interface design has evolved since then, so now it’s hard to play a game where the UI choices are so outdated. Still a great game though!
“Looks like shit”
Man... Nintendo just never gets their localisation right... why...
Especially games like World of Warcraft... how can people play the same “instance” over and over again? Accepting a “quest” from an NPC that was just given to 10.000 other players as well? Why isn’t that NPC ever satisfied?
I guess in this case, EA chooses to ADD the resources to the team that is already building the multiplayer part, because Star Wars is such a huge franchise they can do that. There’s an obvious demand for it too, contrary to games like COD.
Yeah me too, I got bored REALLY quickly by part I’s multiplayer. It’s just not fun to play if you don’t invest a LOT of time in becoming good at multiplayer shooters. I just don’t have that kind of time.
But by ‘Stylized’ I mean that the devs/designers made a conscious choice about making the game stand out visually. Horizon Zero Dawn does that in an excellent way! (yes I underestimated that game, I admit it!).
That would still make for a hilarious cutscene.
Does this game feel as scripted / restricted as the previous games? In the previous games I never had the feeling that it really mattered what you did, especially not in the action sequences. You either die and try again, or you trigger the pre-scripted storyline. The action levels (let alone the story levels) have…
I’m watching re-runs of Golden Girls.
“One of the best things about Japan is its bread”
Same here. Run towards battle for 5 minutes. Headshot. Dead. Repeat ad infinitum. Never even seen any enemy. Also, shooting at my own teammates. I’m really the worst fps player in the world. I just don’t see it.
No matter how you look at it, Uber has always come across as a company that concocted a brilliant business idea on paper, and congratulated each other endlessly before the company even made any money. Now that they have put the idea into practice, there’s suddenly all kind of real life problems, and they weren’t…
“Cartoony”... you use that word as if it’s a bad thing? In my mind, games like Horizon Zero Dawn take the easy way out by choosing a generic photorealistic style. Not saying it doesn’t look good, but it still represents a lack of vision.
Yes these are all awesome(looking) games! I can’t wait to play Horizon Zero Dawn. I guess my only point is that even on a so called “lower spec” machine, a game can STILL look fantastic, but is frustratingly often not recognised as such.
Art direction is grossly underappreciated by the general buying public. I mean, the best selling game ever is GTA V? That game looks horridly awful in my opinion. It’s just generic sauce poured over generic game models, but somehow people interpret this as being “realistic graphics”. Sorry if I sound frustrated about…
