I want someone to break down the how sausage gets made of why Kotaku had a story about this last Wednesday and it’s just hitting the presses of Great Job Internet today.

This looks genuinely good but I’ve been burned by the last few Dave Chappelle specials and I don’t think I can deal with even his mild opinions on trans issues especially since JK Rowling decided to vomit hers all over the internet this week.

Oh man I’m pumped for this whenever it happens. Pretty much the best movie I’ve seen about sports that has almost zero sports action.

For me personally this is one of the most aggressively forgettable films I’ve seen? It’s definitely oozing 60's inspired style all over, but none of the fun moments mentioned in the review really made an impact on me. To me it just felt like they were following a generic spy movie formula in every way. It doesn’t help

I love this song, but I have no attachment to this new version that was tweeted out with the hashtag #DisneyMagicMoments when you can watch classic Jim Henson versions already elsewhere? I guess the fact that it was filmed recently with the current voice actor makes it feel more novel and real than rewatching old

Thanks for letting me know there’s a version of Fight For NY For PSP that I will legally procure and play on my also not hacked PS Vita. I love the dated rappers, I’m very sad fighting games where you play as “celebrities” have kind of died as a genre.

He seems to be hanging onto that Emmy win for a lot of validation as if every entertainment industry awards show doesn’t favor mediocre long running institutions over about everything else.

Yeah I realized afterwards there was a news post on the site I didn’t see and so many updates this week since then! I’m so happy at how it’s ended, it’s definitely a bit corny but I definitely feel like Bitty and Jack earned their happy ending. It’ll be cool to see whatever project Ngozi works on next, considering how

I’m always a sucker for sci-fi comedy, so I feel like I’ll check it out sometime around or after I check out the Orville. And as much as I generally barely tolerate Josh Gad’s shtick, I still love crap like Book of Mormon and Frozen so I’m sure my body can handle it.

I did not realize that the latest comic was indeed the last one, though it makes sense now that I think about the whole arc of the story. I’m confused as to why this is the webcomic that’s gotten AV Club coverage in general, but it’s still a favorite and I’ll be sad to see this very gay hockey story leave. I’ll have

Avenue 5 seems like an okay enough concept, but it my head it’s just another fucking poster for a random TV show with Josh Gad (see also: 1600 Penn, The Comedians) in it that I would see way too much on the subway, back when being on the subway was a thing I’d do enough to get annoyed that I kept on running into Josh

It’s got those elements but like usually it tends to subvert your expectations in those situations and just keep things to an anticlimactic simmer and stuff mostly works out. That’s just the main thing I want to get on the record - this is a supremely chill show once you’re into into it.

I liked it the first time I saw it in theaters and hated it the second time I saw month’s later at my high school’s diversity day. It kind of works if you don’t really know what to expect going in and you’re working with a super white pre-Obama post-9/11 idea of racism in America (also known as being a voting member

I’m not sure if I’m lucky or unlucky to have a “Celebrity IOU” ad instead.

It’s a desperation move usually when you’re not really pulling in that much per pageview so you just try to goose up the pageview volume. So in my guess it probably is moving the needle, but the fact that it is is a bad sign for the long term health of the site.

These are all true I just feel like generally sketch shows tend to be funnier the less they try to go for high production values. But to be fair I don’t really have data to support that so much as happy memories of wigs and costumes that look straight out of a dollar store. So that’s all anecdotal.

Crash is a timeless movie with a perspective on race relations that we can all come together and ruthlessly mock for being naive and emotionally manipulative at best.

Nah just wait two months for when Quibi is desperately flailing to get any interest at all as the AV Club goes schizophrenic between super positive sponsored interviews for Quibi shows and coverage that’s pretty much the same as this article. And then in 2 years after Quibi crashes and burns it’ll be the hipster

I love all those shows! They’re just all old right now, I want a currently airing hot new Netflix sketch show while they’re shoving all this improv and standup at me.

I blame the late breaking critical acclaim Donnie Darko got. It established him as this new cult auteur to watch, which is how he somehow got so many damn celebrities in his next two films before nobody sober had any desire to see them. He obviously has a degree of talent, but he also has an even bigger ego.
