That’s helpful information. This definitely could have been shitty behavior by one kid towards another, and the school could have been right to act. But elevating this into a criminal matter is just absurd.

People forget that they usually give up rebates for a better interest rate. Pay cash, get the rebates. If the buyer did it right they saved/invested the money for the last X years and made money on it putting it toward the cash purchase. Once you buy a new car you restart the process.

Hypothetically, if they were able to organize and support that many people, I’d say the likelihood of the history books writing about “The Great Meme Slaughter of 2019” would be minimal. They’d evacuate everything they could and destroy the rest, or find non-lethal means of deterring people from getting in.

I haven’t forgotten that side of the equation, but I do get frustrated when drivers hold up merging traffic on an acceleration lane, to merge at the first possbile half-size space. When a 1/2 mile of lane is available ahead, its the right thing to use it all.
