It’s actually easy provided there’s a center line in the road. Takes extra concentration but it’s not hard. In parking lots without center lines...I find myself heeling to the right when another car approaches.
Me... I’d punch the clutch, yank the door handle, and fall out on the ground.
“Just be prepared for a couple luggy starts in third gear before your brain adapts.”
YOU WAITED 15 WHOLE SECONDS BEFORE HONKING!?!?! That is some Canadian patience for ya.
35K lbs is a bit on the low end, but not far off. The ones I’m familiar with are 48.5K lbs and are a touch on the larger size. The frame of the trucks are at the very end of that truck, so yeah, rear ending a fire truck won’t do much. Still costs a mint to fix since that truck is a custom truck.
I once sold a car to a family member. They wanted to make payments on it, and like I expected I never received a single payment.
If they would mount the wheels and tires properly on the car, they could have something. Instead they ruin it.

I may not agree with their methods, but I applaud their results.
These men are heroes.
It’s an open-ended, judgement call that is frequently misused by LEO’s. That doesn’t mean such laws aren’t needed, it’s just that the misuse of these types of charges may outweigh their utility.
Nobody was really hurt and the car didn’t seem to be driving recklessly to me. Yet the first thing to cops want to do is drum up some charges. What they did was pretty stupid but that doesn’t make it criminal.
And operating a vehicle recklessly is illegal in every state I’ve been in
“I can tell you that if that’s something an officer observed, the driver would be cited for that. It’s not an arrestable offense. But clearly there’s reckless operation,” Merner told the news station.
If I became a slave to my job for 16 years, I wouldn’t make enough to be competitive in LMP. Prison would arguably be a better value.
