The Genesis is hotter. Fight me.

When was the last time a Le Mans winner was relevant to your daily commute?

And don’t say shit like “gone totally homo” like it’s a pejorative, you fucking Neanderthal.

While I agree that the bumper cutline was handled really well on the Kia, this sort of treatment has been done before. I first noticed it on the last gen Lexus IS:

Where’s the 200 series Land Cruiser/LX570??? Or for even more personality a 100 series Cruiser/LX470. Our guy was looking for serious off road chops, and the first selection was a Volvo! $20k for a NICE mint 200 series LC plus $5k for whatever baselining and maintenance it might need (PPI and repairs at the dealer,

I am a 30 yr old architect living in Nashville, TN”

The used Volvo AWD XC class is the answer.

How about a 2012-2016 Volvo XC70?

Architect here - common misconception that we are well paid. The vast majority are not.

I know it’s getting away from the off road cred but how about a newer used Acura RDX, 2019+ with the SH-AWD. I wouldn’t recommend carving any dunes with it but it’s fun to drive unlike so many CUXs, unique looks and feel, luxery without breaking the bank, and honda reliable. If you can find certified they have a crazy

I’d like to say I’m surprised that manufacturers treat stick shifts like a penalty even in an enthusiast car like the bronco. But I’m not. Pairing a manual with only the base engine, and cheap trim levels, or weirdness like this is exactly why it’s so rare.

Forget the car, get yourself a new career! Unless it’s your own firm and you’re working on small, interesting projects, being an architect in 2021 sucks huge camel balls!

Honestly, I’ve reached that point with chunky station wagons. If I decide that I need one in a year or two, I’ll go to Carmax and buy what feels comfortable and drives well for ~$20K that day.

Two problems with it:

Literally, 60 seconds in Photoshop. Not perfect by a long shot but a million times better...

i4? Eyesore, more like...

The beltline on this reminds me of the Mazda MX-30; it’s a few inches too high. The sheetmetal looks like it came from one car, and the greenhouse looks like it came from another. Like the MX-3o, it makes me wonder about outward visibility which I consider an important part of both safety as well as the joy of driving.

Remember to remind yourself every day that ‘This is not normal’.
I’m afraid we’ll get used to the grille and then we’re all fucked.

If it’s all electric why do they need the giant and hideous grille?

“Turning everyone trans” I am dead 😂😂😂

This is completely ridiculous and you should be ashamed of yourself.
