Always appropriate to remind people: Anyone who does not want to have children... and DOES NOT have children should be applauded.

You win the internet today for such a well reasoned, non-combative comment, full of clever & illustrative examples showing why this is problematic. Nicely done.

Well, setting aside the complicated history of killing people and/or taking their land based on their ethnicity - the thing is, Jeep isn’t using the word “Cherokee” because they really, really love Cherokee culture. They’re using it to invoke the idea of untamed wilderness and pristine nature. Which in itself is fine,

I graduated from high school in the early aughts from a southern school where my guidance counselor never remembered my name despite me doing the best I could to apply for scholarships and get info on art schools. I was poor, the only member of my family to apply for college at that point, the only internet we had

ME SIMPLE RED STATE CAVEMAN PATRIOT STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM *looks around making sure there are no Mexicans or blacks around* ME NO UNDERSTAND TAX PAYER FUNDED MUNICPAL INFRASTRUCTURE *hides paycheck form the city comptroller* ME MAKE GAULTS GULCH AND WHITE SOMALIA ON THE BONES OF LIBZ, COMMIES, SOSHULISTS AND WINDMILLS

Bradley, this is EXACTLY the impetus many of us need to, like, get off our asses and to do the same.

You’re right, I guess I’ll stop doing my job because you don’t like it or whatever.

It’s SO frustrating!!

I’ve never found leather durable. It cracks, gets shiny, etc., if not very nicely cared for.

On the other hand, I’ve owned 20+ year old Civics with cloth seats that were absolutely immaculate.

Could you please keep these opinions to yourself for at least another 2-3 years? I should have garage space available by then to own a 996/986 Porsche, and I feel that the fried-egg sentiment is one opinion that is helping keep those prices at least semi-sane for the time being.

Funky? Different? 4x4? Less than 15k? I got you Sean.

Sneaky Pete FTW

God bless Sneaky Pete.

I can’t stand the gold bowtie. Swapping for black bowties is the first thing I did when I got my Volt.

Chevy. They talk about how their Bowtie dates back to 1913. It does, but it’s been updated a bunch of times. Check this variation out from 1955. I like it a lot better than the boring gold one of today. I think it would work well today.  The current logo screams CHEAP compared to this one.

It also symbolizes each of the letters in TOYOTA

not so much a logo makeover as much as a logo deployment makeover

I agree, also Mazda. They want to go upmarket, so they need to have a more upmarket emblem.

Dude deleted the Tweet, here is the bitch in all her glory:

One trick I have developed to keeping older cars is to just fix them when they break and to just replace worn out parts. I don’t know how many people I’ve talked to that are thinking about replacing their car because it needs shocks and struts. One guy said he wanted to get a new car because his current one needed
