I work at a Mazda dealer and I can confirm that the manufacturer is indeed pushing hard to improve the dealership experience, both for sales customers as well as for service and parts. The current program is called “Ignite The Passion”, and talks a lot about how to make customers feel passionate about the brand.

I do a lot of driving for work. In 15 minutes I’ll still be “freshening up” when the car is charged. Big bonus with this system, or any electrical fast charger, is that I don’t have to stay at the vehicle while it is still refueling.

I think the biggest problem with that and why they went with black is that if you do make the bumper all body color, it then looks MASSIVE. I think that’s because the taillights are a smidge too high for as small as the bar is.
