yeah i enjoy that this is where brewers have turned/are starting to turn. im over insanely bitter, have been for some time. im excited for my next small-ish IPA which will clock in around 5% and is all whirlpool nelson/citra and a huge dry hop of citra/chinook. its hardly bitter at all, but that aroma will be amazing.

The outlook is starting to change and moving toward focusing on hop flavors and aromas, not UBERHYPERBITTEROHBOYYYY IPAs. they’re not everywhere yet, but we’re just as tired of it as you! source: im a PNW head brewer.

as a fellow head brewer, i also agree. drink what makes you happy, don’t yell at anyone else about it. we have the luxury of choice AND we’re out here “makin jorrrrrrrbs” for people. its a win-win. craft beer: good!
