and starting in 2005 on the Pontiac Grand Prix, the HUD could display audio info, speed, compass, outside air temperature, PRNDL, intermediate gear positions, performance upshift light, high beam indicator, warning lights, and on models with Nav turn-by-turn directions, if I remember correctly.
