I 100% believe it’s true. That’s what these weird evangelicals believe.

I prefer the Roku because it has more options for free channels playing weird old movies and it plays well with other content providers like Youtube. I use a fire stick in Japan because the my American roku doesn’t work as well here-Netflix is OK, other services are a no go. The stick is so slow, freezes constantly

By the standards of a man who has played and studied jazz since the 1940s as well as played with and produced the best musicians in the world.

They like to hitch rides. It was a constant problem when I worked in libraries.

This was my favorite film of the year and one of my favorite movie going experiences. I was moved to tears and the visuals were just stunning.

Agree. I was RIVETED.

They are also in library books. They love paper.

I wish you could see how hard I’m laughing at your comment.

I had the opposite reaction. I was horrified in seeing my own internalized white progressive racism spilling out in front of me. Even the second time I watched it I found myself muttering in horror, “Oh God, I’m complicit. I’m complicit.” It was seeing every microagression that has fallen out of my lips from ignorance

I deleted Instagram after recommended users start taking up most of my feed. I just want to see pictures from my closest friends who live far away and that is it. I’m starting to miss the family newsletters with updated family photos that people sent in the mail every Christmas before social media and e-mail happened.

She was assaulted by her producer. The man (QT) who she thought she had a collaborative, artistic relationship with forced her to do a stunt that she felt uncomfortable with, was injured, and still suffers pain from those injuries today. The icing on the cake was that Tarantino (a man who was supposed to be her friend

One of my first jobs was a hostess at a fairly busy chain restaurant. I was paid $2.15 an hour and tip outs from disgruntled servers who didn’t want to share their tips (I mean, who would?). I was lucky to make $8 at the end of the night. I barely covered gas to get to work every week. On top of being sexually

Two great YA books turned into movies and I didn’t know?! Monster and Cameron Post are both great stories! The first half of the book Cameron Post is a beautiful coming of age story about a girl discovering her sexuality. I loved it. Cannot wait to see the movie!

Seriously though, the majority of Fences was set in a tiny backyard and between Denzel and Viola Davis I don’t know how they squeezed that much acting into such a small space. I loved Fences, I would have loved to see him do the stage production.
