Here’s the thing. Louisville is a liberal and progressive city. Unfortunately, the Governor of the state is a very Trump-like person who has it out for the city. He is supporting laws that specifically target Louisville, including another bill that would give him authority to limit the terms of Louisville’s mayor and

And the people who put the law forward don’t even know how it will work. Right now the bill is written that people should attend their closest school, however the number of school age kids changes every year. So each year the school boundary could change depending on how many kids have moved closer to the school.

At 7 kids definitely start having their own opinions about politics. A kid that age can definetly question why a president would discriminate against people from Mexico and take his PBS away. He didn’t sound like someone fed him lines to say, he was speaking his opinion.

I could count on one hand the number of times I’ve shaved down there and I never wax and don’t really do any hedge clipping either. Anytime I’ve touched the area it has exploded in in-grown hairs and I honestly just don’t like it at all. Some dudes have complained, but now that I’m older and married I can say fuck’m.

Well he’s already set up that any attack is the fault of activist judges... 😰

Tammy was better than antipated and no worse than any dude comedies that ever come out. She is a dang gem.

I am going through so many emotions every given hour that I don’t know what to hope for anymore. What a nightmare. I’m in a complete spiral. Do you have some hope to spare?

It’s honestly becoming more and more cathartic for me.

Honestly, at this point I don’t foresee Trump’s reign ending without violence.

Ample crop space, but no water.

They don’t care as long as they’re in power and have someone who will sign anything they put in front of him if they tell him how big his hands look while he does it.

You’re getting a little dumped on by folks in this comment thread and I’m a few days late to the conversation. I just wanted to say I think it’s amazing that you’re having these conversations with your daughter, playing games with her, and speaking out about representation in games. That’s awesome. You’re a good dad.

God, I hate that “fake” culture. Outings to the movies at work? I don’t want to be paid to hang out with my coworkers. I just want to do my job and go home. I hate pot lucks. I hate having to fake smile while people sing happy birthday to me or sing it to others and have to eat overly sweet cake. I hate the secret

I agree as I now work overseas and have been enjoying my vacations or long weekends every few months to explore the country. I was imagining moving back home and doing the same, but then remembered that when I worked in America my bosses harassed me for using sick/vacation time because I “might need it” if I got

I still like Walking on the Sun and most of the songs on Fush Yu Mang (pre-All Star).

I remember my mom being concerned that I was listening to too much dude rock and asked if there were any women artists I admired. Beyond Gwen Stefani and Shirley Manson, not many. Her response, “Oh, you haven’t gone through your Joni Mitchell phase yet.” God, she was spot on with that though. I’m still waiting for my

As a youth services library, I assure you the kids are still into reading. In fact, reading is way cooler now than it was when I was a young nerd. Thank Harry Potter.

Oof, I’ve met some 10 year olds (and younger) that definitely understand.

She did do 1000 books before kindergarten! The librarian Twittersphere has been passing this story around the last few days.

Republicans won’t turn on Trump. He distracts everyone while they burn everything down.
