I did a double-take when I read that. But it occurred to me he was playing someone in their early 20s in Point Break in ‘91 and it kind of made sense. Whoa.

Once again, I’d like to say that Constantine is a great little movie. It really is a shame that the purists have deemed the choices made in adapting it too extreme for them to embrace it fully.
What movies are you watching? There's still lots of sex in lots of movies
“The film rides a provocative line by never quite clarifying whether Benedetta’s lifelong conviction that she’s been chosen by Jesus and the Virgin Mary is a real anointment by God, a fanatical delusion, or a cynical power play.”
I was going down an internet hole last year reading up on Verhoeven’s career, and I remember laughing out loud from this line on the Wikipedia page for Flesh and Blood, his first English language movie:
I remember during the first lockdown, some paparazzi were spending all of it hounding Robert Pattinson about the Batman movie and the sequel to it, when the first one isn’t even out yet.
I imagine it’s frustrating for celebrities to have people that just milk them for insider info on their work instead of asking them…
I really don’t get what networks don’t break off like $100,000 for a bare bones, near-stage production and then use their imaginations instead of dropping 30 million on something you might not even pick up. Fundamental story problems are the one thing that’s unfixable, and they’ll be noticeable even if the dragon is…
New insidery type book about HBO is likely kicking off all of this GOT stuff. Also the behind the scenes stuff about why Lovecraft Country was (supposedly) canceled
I wish that maybe the reveal could’ve surprised me but of course it was Thawne. It’s always Thawne. Dude has been all about fucking up Barry’s timeline since episode 1, “maybe it’s Thawne” should genuinely be everyone’s first reaction when coincidences start piling up.
It’s especially baffling considering how Leto ended up looking virtually nothing like Paolo Gucci
I find it hilarious that this is at least the third time that Ridley Scott has hired an actor incorrect for the role and just coated them in absurd and distracting make up. Guy Pearce in Prometheus. Kevin spacey in all the money. Leto in this. Pearce was at least a great actor and spacey was mercifully recast. It’s…
My partner and I were discussing what made the Holland Spider-Man films so good recently, and one thing we agreed on was that they showed Peter’s domestic life far more successfully than either the Maguire or the Garfield movies. It’s partly the performances and partly the writing: you get to see how important home is…
well no way home does appear to start immediately after far from home.
Spider-Man has long been Marvel’s most popular character, so it’s not exactly a shock.
He drove an hour and a half out of his way to shoot people he considered “looters/rioters” how the fuck is that not vigilantism? You know what don’t answer that. Just go fuck yourself fascist
If this happened in our world there were would definitely be pro-Thanos people. They might even be a major cultural/political force
I always thought Nat sacrificed herself because Clint had a family, and she had guilt over her past.
Nah, it’s obvious you didn’t like it because you’re a whippersnapper always on Facebook on your blasted phone. This film can only be appreciated by good people who remember when movies were Movies and not some CG hero bashing some portal in the sky. You didn’t see directors in the 70's making these big special effect…
Dune may not be about fashion, but its costuming is more interesting than any of those, IMO.
we queers have been targeted with a lot of coded studio shenanigans, but we’ll still take what we get $$$
