I think it’s just that critics are kind of in their own bubble when it comes to shows, especially now that there’s so many. To let certain corners of Twitter tell it, Succession is the most popular show on TV and has been for a while, yet I think it’s only just now getting to the same ratings as like, Supergirl or

Yeah, from the episodes I saw, the show almost seems aimed at teenagers (I say almost because Emily is clearly mid-to-late 20s).

1) Millennials are between 25-40 by now, at this point it’s more likely they missed the movie because they have kids lol. 2) Is there a universe when this is a huge hit? Even leaving out the subject matter, I don’t think medieval-set movies do all that well usually, unless they’re fantasy.

I took a history of theater class in London, and we had guest lecturers who were actual actors,  and the impression I get is that that is the case in the arts in general over there, and I think that’s why so many of their actors are from insanely wealthy backgrounds.

I don’t really know, I think it’ll catch people by surprise. I say that because it seems I’ve been hearing “this is the movie that’s going to kill Marvel” for like 8 years now. Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-man, Spiderman Homecoming, going to the more recent ones Shang Chi...all of these were supposed to flop and be

I think The Sopranos has had a resurgence in popularity among a certain corner of the internet that happens to also be the same people who write articles. I’m in my 20s and not that no one’s heard of it, but it’s not a show I hear about people I know in real life binging a ton of. The Wire was the show that people my

Weirdly I can’t think of too many shows that take place in the 70s other than That 70s Show, idk why. All the ones I’m thinking of got canceled. It seems like everything kind of skipped nostalgia-wise from the 60s to the 80s and we just keep going back to those two decades.

Yeah I remember seeing commercials for this and thinking it took place up North or in like California, just based on the lead’s interactions with white people. The stuff my parents tell me about being in Georgia even in the 80s and 90s are wild.

There should be a against nominating shows more than once in the same category. Like I swear the only reason Ted Lasso won so much was because it was nominated 4 times in every category.

I had the same thought, I’m pretty sure Keanu’s one of the richest actors in Hollywood just from the Matrix alone, I know he doesn’t need my $50.

Exactly, that’s what I’ve been saying. Back in the day the only shows that used to have anything serious happen in Christmas episodes were soap operas lol.

The inevitable Netflix/Hulu miniseries on this (or a knockoff called like Endangered! or something) is going to be great.

I know I saw some tweets recently about how the Office characters would deal with vaccines, they were pretty funny.

I’m not surprised, when I first heard the song I thought it was a straight up remix or sample.

It’s literally a phone recording off of another phone which is recording a 3rd phone. The audio’s not too bad but the visuals are awful lol, you are barely getting anything.

What’s wild to me about this is that Mindy Kaling is not that big now and especially wasn’t when she was on The Office...If she lost 15 pounds then she would look unwell. Not to diminish what she went through but this just shows how weird the standards are in Hollywood, in real life I feel like no one other than the

The original news is how I found out that Bo Burnham is 6'5". Seemed like a weird choice at first, but how many actors have that height that look like that lol.

I didn’t think it was Zach Galifanakis but I honestly couldn’t have told you who it was...I know some film snobs in here are getting the vapors but I really am not a huge Robert Redford aficionado and his peak was decades ago. The other thing people are forgetting is that a good 1/2 the time these gifs are pretty low

I really feel like the thing weirding people out is that this is airing in August...If this came out December nobody would care because it’s expected that shows do Christmas episodes at that time (even if they are bad). Also I feel like it used to be a thing in sitcoms for Santa to straight up be real. Even in shows

Yes, to me she has no chemistry with any love interest. Like I believe there’s more between Lucifer and Chloe’s ex-husband than with Chloe herself lol.
