I don’t think you mean 128 bit colour, we currently have no working 64bit colour at least for consumer markets and the common colour bit depths used are 24 bit and 16 bit.

Because everyone has referred to 2160p as 4k and some readers wouldn’t off-hand know that 2160 is 4k but everyone knows 1080p is full hd.

No it’s saying Pre-orders are bad.

I3 let alone I5 are far more than fine for web browsing. Those are current gen Pentiums and Celerons. The I3 and I5 are good enough for almost all people because very few programs (video editors being the exception) support Multi-threading or more than dual-core processors.

That should be fine. The UK has had chip and pin since around ‘03 and now we have apple pay and android pay support along with various banks having contact less technology for your phone or for an NFC sticker or something similar.

Proper chip and pin is most definitely more secure.

Yes some of which are incredibly dangerous if you were to get infected

You pretty much do it the same way you would on windows. Don’t download and run apps from untrusted sources IE any site that isn’t google play, f-droid or amazons’ store. Also you could get an anti virus app however they normally need your phone to be rooted (equivalent of a jailbreak on an IOS device and if they

I don’t know if you have already heard about this Eric, but David Cameron has announced he is leaving and the conservative party will choose a new MP until our next General Election

If you only want to play vanilla and use one of their chosen display resolution it should be fine however you still need one of their chosen resolutions and it probably won’t have very many mods (if any).

If it isn’t 14.04.X you need to either upgrade to 16.04 or downgrade to either 14.04 or 12.04 as 14.10s End of life was late july last year.

No defragmenting SSDs is almost always a bad idea as they already have very fast random read write access so the main thing that defragging an SSD would do is use up write cycles. In fact microsoft even disabled you from being able to defragment an SSD in windows 7 and 8 as they believed it doesn’t offer a big enough

Ubuntu does support TRIM and has for a while now. I don’t know if it is automatically enabled if you’re on 14.10 or later but i am fairly sure that 14.04 doesn’t have it automatically enabled for every make of SSD on the market. so you will have to check. Also if you are running 12.04 it is very likely that it will

It depends what games you have,

Hi Eric

Sadly probably not

Sadly probably not

Hey Thorin

Just a quick clarification, for those thinking of checking this OS out.

No. The windows 10 Beta is a complete rewrite of the minecraft code in C++ as opposed to java which is the language used in the original. This means when it’s finished it should be faster but (like the console/mobile version) it has less features compared to the (full fat) java pc version.

Thats annoying i like the new email counter but don't like gmail web as much as gmail though thunderbird.
