I will give parents posting embarrassing/compromising photos of their children contemporaneous to the children actually being that age a half pass. You probably shouldn’t share that nude photo of your 2-year old with your 700 Facebook friends, but I can sort of understand how one might do so without giving it too much…

Well, sure yeah everything embarrasses them. But they have a right to be that way. I think this is a way that we teach teenagers their feelings don’t matter - you only feel embarrassed because you’re a teenager and therefore it’s not valid.

I think you have to know your child. If they have self esteem problems or a genuine phobia of embarrassment, you can make their life a living hell.

Or at least as soon as they are old enough to tell you it's embarrassing and hurting them. What reason do they have for not stopping besides humiliating her.
