...or if the title of the article didn’t label it toxic while the body of the article insinuates it’s carcinogenic. These are different things, but the author appears not to realise that. What a fucking train wreck.

When has Monsanto ever claimed it’s trying to go green?? It’s literally the poster child for the opposite.
Having lots of food that is poison is worse than not having food at all.
Monsanto is an evil corporation does not equal Roundup causes cancer.
I will never understand people who shit on the rights of the disabled. They are us. We all - every single one of us - are one car crash or dose of meningitis from joining them. Do you really think every single person you love is going to be hale and hearty until they drop dead? Oh shit, Uncle Dave is developing…
“Virginia grants parents the ability to exempt their children from education altogether
Your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries.
Lord Darnley, the second husband of Mary Queen of Scots was epically butthurt that she wouldn’t grant him the Crown Matrimonial. This would have given him equal power with her and meant he got to keep the throne if he outlived her. As she also had a strong claim to the English throne, this was a big deal. …
Now we’re getting somewhere. What have I got wrong?
You think an appeal to logic is a bad thing?? That is fucking hilarious. Am I a shill or a bot? Or am I both? You have confused me.
Do you want to address my points or sling ad hominems?
I don’t give a toss about Monsanto; I took exception to the alarmist tone of the article. I am glad you have some good evidence to contribute. Can you give me a link? And why do you say the scientific consensus doesn’t come into play?
The source I quoted said the smallest no-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) I could find is 30 mg of glyphosate/kg of body weight per day. This means a person weighing 75kg (165lb) could consume 2,250mg (about half a teaspoon) of pure glyphosate a day. The strongest commercially available concentration of…
Hello, Geminiid. Your main concerns seem to be;
Hi Marvelous! Yep, paid Monsanto shill, ya got me. Who you shilling for these days? Big Organic? Big Vitamin? Oh, I know, Big Alternative Medicine!
I have no idea what Monsanto do or why they do it. Is it possible they know Roundup is carcinogenic, and are trying to cover that up? Of course. There is a long, sad history of corporations putting profits over public safety and I see no reason to say Monsanto wouldn’t do that.
I do remember tobacco. I also remember Thalidomide. I’m not denying the possibility Monsanto is deliberately covering up that Roundup is actually carcinogenic. I’m questioning there’s evidence that it is carcinogenic.
It’s incredibly dumb to try and cover up things that would look bad; but organisations from national governments to schoolyard cliques do exactly that.
I have the same sort of issue. I’m now 49 and juuuuuuuuust avoided cracking 120kg. I have arthritis and high blood pressure, with a family history of dementia. The sheer physical size of my body was causing issues; skin irritation in folds, washing becoming difficult, constant fatigue, sleep apnea and persistent…
I’m quite happy to believe (a) that Monsanto, or any other chemical company, would put profit before safety (b) some scientists might accept bribes to suppress findings critical of said companies and (c) Monsanto tried to suppress documents about Roundup. That still doesn’t add up to Roundup is giving everybody…
