lissargh: living in the black

No it’s not the alcohol companies. It’s white men. That’s why we’re drinking ourselves to death.

HEs the happiest dog in the world these days.

My bubbas has grays on his flanks and he’s less than 2, but he had a rough start at life with demodectic mange, malnourishment and kennel cough. They were going to put him down but his angel of a foster saved him and now he’s mine (and also the only being I love in this world.)

Thank you. As a firmly pro-choice Texan lady I wanted to respond but then thought better of it because I didn’t have nice things to say.

It’s almost like Trump Supporters and Leave the EU supporters did the same amount of research before voting (none).

“this” mental illness. Not “46% of the country doesn’t suffer from A mental illness.” They were saying that 46% of the population, the 46% that view trans people unfavorably, DOES NOT have said “mental illness” — signifying that they think being trans is a mental illness.

Oh come the fuck on, (s)he was not pointing out “that the LGBTQ community has significantly higher rates of mental illness”. (S)he was calling being trans a mental illness.

I am vehemently and loudly in opposition to anti-vaxxers and climate change deniers, as well, but I’m admittedly more angry about the people who choose to be ignorant and hateful towards groups of people than people who choose to be ignorant about science. Though, anti-vax people make my blood boil because if they

No they suffer from stupid, which is far worse than any mental illness because you can make the choice to educate yourself and stop being stupid.

Great.

It’s certainly jarring and unnerving, but my point was more that a calculated, by nature intentional and planned shooting is not casual violence.

On top of that, it’s hard to catergorize this specific act of violence as casual. It wasn’t casual, it was pointed and intentional — it wasn’t for no reason.

I was sitting there dumbfounded like “DO I LIVE IN A BATTLEGROUND STATE NOW?”

I’m sure your passionate demoralizing of people who didn’t feel they could vote for Trump or Clinton so opted for a third party or not to vote at all is sure to make them rethink their stances and certainly will not make them feel vindicated and right to make their (personal) choices.

I will give her one thing: I have never seen Texas go back and forth from Blue to Red like that in my life.

His jaw is crooked and it’s all I see when he talks which is horrible of me to say but I CANT HELP IT

I know who two out of three of these people are. That’s new.

I don’t think the intention is bad, I just think we could have used clarification on what the class is specifically. If they provide resources for stylists to share and training on how to approach the situation I think it will be really helpful, which someone replied to me earlier and said she took a similar class

I’ll have to look into it and see if I can find one in this area. I know a decent amount about DV from the criminal investigation class I took — man, that class really drove the importance of those kind of conversations home. I will never forget the images I saw, they made me cry in class in front of like 12 other

Thanks for the numbers! I have info for local SAAFE houses and I think those classes are great — thanks for the clarification!
