I'm there with you, but that picture doesn't prove what you think it proves. That's not Soon-Yi as a child, that Allen's daughter that he adopted with Soon-Yi.

I live in Paris and have heard of Punxsy Phil.
Also, love your handle. A fave with my wee Parisiennes.

I'm not so sure you can, across the board, say that settling=guilty. It might be the case here, but I don't think that settling is always an indication of guilt. Sometimes it might just make more sense from financial and PR perspectives to settle than to go through a lengthy legal battle.

I totally agree. It doesn't mean she wasn't raped, but it does mean that had this case gone to court, the defense's job would have been made a lot easier, and the prosecution's a lot harder.

I had no idea who this woman is so was unaware of the famous twindom. I thought you might have been referring to her husband, who I think is also notably absent from her list of supporters.

I dunno. She's seated, knees facing the camera, upper-body twisted to the right. It's not necessarily Photoshop that's responsible for the elimination of her torso, it's perspective. Her forehead, on the other hand, is definitely altered. Her face isn't that long.

This. I've been reading all these comments saying "They cut and pasted everything!" "Her shins are coming out of her hips!" WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO HER BODY?" No taking into account perspective, I guess?

How about for a role in Hunger Games?

For her role in Hunger Games. And because she can.

I think you've actually hit the nail on the head. All this time everyone's like, "Get a stylist!" And "learn to dress for your body type," but I think she (along with her stylist, whoever that may be, if she has one) knows exactly what she's doing in dressing "off". It's completely intentional and serves to underscore

Good question. Had to ask ParisPapa the same thing the other day. Short answer is no. A spouse of the President has no official role or duties here, apart from accompanying the President on trips abroad and hosting guests at the Elysées Palace.

You're right, they're not. Hollande has never been married. It's too bourgeois an institution, according to many here.

Hollande and Royal did not divorce as they were never married. The also only separated just before the legislative elections, presumably due to his involvement Trierweiler.

Nope, they were not married. Common law partners.

Merci! Bises! ;)

I'm raising two girls in France. While they have learned that "faire la bise" is a totally normal, friendly greeting (and they do it happily and spontaneously, most of the time), we've been clear from the get-go that they don't HAVE to do it if they don't want to. They need to know how to manoeuvre within this culture

I'm right there with you on the McD.L.T. That was truly inspired.
Here in France "authentic" American cuisine is trendy right now. Behold, the "Breads & America" (no, not "Breads of America", or even "Bread in America". BREADS & AMERICA) sandwich series, including Le Double Shiny Bacon and Le Grand Bagel Cheese. No

I can get on board with much of this critique, but what's the problem with Emma's and Liam's relationship being left vague? So what? Why does a friendship between a man and a woman need an explanation? None of the male friendships in this movie are explained, either, but that's not frustrating any viewers, to judge
