I never did get around to watching Canada: A People's History. Anyone know if it would still hold up?

I wonder if it means something that Gloria, who's so sure the world has some semblance of logic and order to it, struggles with technology while Varga, who thrives on the chaos, seems to be surprisingly adept with tech.

I like this explanation a lot.

Thought experiment: How much of this season's plot still happens if that hoodwinked sci-fi writer didn't puke into that specific toilet back in the '70s?

I can see that. Carrying the 'Peter and the Wolf' elements all the way through was a great directorial device though.

You're not gonna believe this. Yuri Gurka killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. The guy was an interior decorator!

If nothing else, this season of Fargo had by far the best score of any season of Fargo.

Nice to see The Handmaid's Tale doing so well.

I don't recall anything about Margaret Brown, but it has an incredible amount of information and activities. Your ticket also gets you into the (actual!) SS Nomadic, which ferried passengers to the Titanic and spent a few

I think this column is mostly pro-knowledge and pro-trivia, and 'keeping us in suspense' runs second to 'letting us explore cool wormholes on our own'.

You shut your mouth. Curling is a fantastic TV sport.

We're less than eight months away from Pyeongchang. It makes sense to start now to show the qualifiers and whatnot.

Completely agreed. I always make sure to take at least one day during the Olympics to sit on the couch and watch volleyball, table tennis, weightlifting, whatever, having forgotten everything I ever knew about them and knowing I won't care again for another four years.

At least it won't be expensive for NBC to put this channel together.
