It would appear Jim Farley forgets the first Mustangs came with an inline six and were popular with secretarys. They weren’t even really the first pony car. While some would point to the Barracuda as being the first I’d point to the 1963 Dart GT as being it.

The anti drain back check balls in the transmission pumps tend to stick if they sat a long time. Its no fun having to pull the transmission out and trying to get it unstuck because the transmission overheats.

The sleeper title made me think it would be one of the ones with a 429 or a 460 in it. To me a 302 is less exiting than a bowl of prunes. Hell eat enough prunes and you’ll run faster than a 130 Hp 302!

I bought a 1978 Dodge D150 in Iowa two years ago that has original sheet metal with no rust through. Not all trucks in farm country were beat to death. Mine was originally owned by an old Veterinarian who used it for his work. I bought it with just over 60,000 miles on it.
