Have any of you been to Southeast DC lately? May I interest you in a 1 bed, 1 bath 700 sq. ft. condo for half a million dollars?

Oh like that crowd was even from southeast DC. This is the World Series, after all. Which makes the booing far more damming.

There’s distinctly a difference between sexual assault, and a consensual relationship with a subordinate. Not to say the affair is excusable - I do think there should be consequences for that, I’m not convinced it should be resignation, but she's really stepping down oved a humiliating and offensive campaign from her

She slept with a subordinate. That’s bad news, regardless of whatever her husband did or didn’t do.

I think that was a paraphrasing of what they were saying, not an editorializing. They were saying they had no TV writing experience.

Ugggh. So her soon to be ex-husband choreographs a revenge porn campaign against her, and she resigns her position. Ugh.

No HBO is the reason that show was successful and HBO putting the right people around those hacks is the reason that show is successful and they just admitted it in that thread up above. Nothing else Benioff has ever touched has been good, I mean he was one of the screenwriters on freaking Gemini Man for crying out

But, wasn't most of the episodes people liked early on in the show where they were (essentially) following the "study guide" of George RR Martin's finished novels?

That’s some Tatiana Maslany-level shit right there.

A plague upon you for wanting your life experiences validated! I can’t think of anything more diabolical!

Right? The K/J women have generally horrible taste in men, and ‘Hotline Bling’ is like the Whiny Fuckboy anthem. Match made in publicist heaven.

As noted above, Vicki-as-Michael literally missed the spotlight when she stepped onto the stage at DemonCon.

Now playing

I love any excuse a show can have to reference the line that spawned a million memes in the mid-00s

Tiya Sircar as Vicki was fantastic on this show & while she never quite got the spotlight she deserved (due mostly to getting cast in other things) that was oddly perfect for the character, who always complained that her role should have been bigger. If you have a Ferrari, you don’t keep it in the garage!

Part of me doesn’t believe the Kylie/Drake flirtation. They talked at a party and danced near (not with) each other and somehow this has spawned multiple articles? Seems like two of the best PR machines in the biz are finally joining forces. Now Drake can have some manufactured beef with Travis Scott and Kylie can

Lots of great bits. Glad they addressed Tahani seemingly not doing much this season. A solid episode all around, But I couldn’t help but feel like both plots were fighting to be the A Plot this episode. The Eleanor and Tahani plot had more room for jokes, which in a comedy, is most important, but it didn’t seem to

If Vicky doesn’t have time to regenerate into a slug monster, teenage boy, social media CEO, etc. before this show ends, then farewell to Tiya Sircar’s wonderful run on this show. I know she spent a whole season in a cocoon, but I love how the writers kept finding ways to bring her back into the fold. She was nefarious

I’m 37 minutes into this interview, but it has helped crystallize a painful realization for me— boomer Kanye has arrived in full.

Ugh, the fact that “Free Churro” lost out to The Simpsons this year in the Emmys is as quietly devastating as anything that’s happened on the show.
