It is generally pretty difficult to emigrate to Canada. My husband barely ekes out enough points and only because he works in an in demand profession and is married to a citizen.

I straight up cried. I don’t consider myself terribly emotional, but between Canada’s beautiful reception and Humans of New York lately, I’m a mess.

Actually, this is one of the times I’m glad there’s as much publicity as possible on it. Everyone should know that we are welcoming to refugees, inside and outside the country.
