Antisemites usually have a problem with zionism, yes.

Having actually caught an intruder in my house and reacted in a way that I think most people would find ridiculous*, I’m generally reluctant to proclaim that anyone’s behavior in these sorts of scenarios is ridiculous. People act on instinct and what they do in a moment when adrenaline is clouding their judgment…
There is an interesting theory that mankind has had its chance, and if something like this screws it up, we can never get back to the level of technology we are at now. Why? Because all of the cheap, easily accessible energy in the form of liquid fuel is gone. If we lost the knowledgebase and technology we have now,…
“Here’s everything you need to know about it before you go see the movie.”
Amazing how these Republican lawmakers grow balls when they aren’t trying to get elected anymore, isn’t it?
“Fuck Jordan. Fuck Chaffetz. They’re both assholes.”
You’re right, this is an assumption.
Hm. It wasn’t clear to me at the end of The Dark World that Loki “removed Odin from power and assumed his stepfather’s identity, so he could finally rule over Asgard as he’d always desired.”
I’d bet Jeff Goldblum would be a great roommate. He’s the type of guy who would buy a large pizza with every intention of sharing half of it with you. When he buys milk, he’s like, “Hey man, drink as much as you want. Just make sure I have some for my morning coffee.” He’s the kinda guy who always washes the dishes…
Congratulations. I hate you... ‘cause I ain’t you.
I suggest you watch “Star Trek Continues”, that show actually shows Kirk lamenting all the lost loves of his life and Edith Keeler is of Course included. In a single episode format that is. But who’s to say they would not have made such a show if CBS had not canceled the show too soon. The same could be said for…
Picard had an episode like this and later, when he again played that flute, casual watchers thought little of it. But knowing the connection made it a powerful moment. I feel like that’s a good way to have continuity without making a 100 hour movie.
Serialization fixes the single worst thing about Star Trek; that nothing of significance ever happens. Every episode is wrapped up by the end and the characters come full circle.
I don’t get this. How would him mourning her have changed how that episode was done? “City on the Edge of Forever” could be done the exact same. The episodes after it would have the mourning.
Actually, he’s trying to pull a jedi mind trick with that “lost respect for the men and women...” bullshit. It’s not them who don’t have our respect, it’s the fuckers at the top like him and Trump who aren’t respected. Him trying to turn it into “see, they don’t like those brave men and women” is deflection like…
John Kelly seems to have an awfully selective memory.
The RiffTrax overlay of The Five Doctors, on the other hand, was excellent.
I caught it when it was on TV in the UK a few weeks ago. While it would probably have benefited from a bigger budget, the concept was quite interesting. Thinking about it again now, I may be insane, but I can see parallels to The Seventh Seal.
Not entirely sure The Devil’s Rain is great, certainly entertainingly odd.
Ernest Borgnine in The Devil’s Rain. And Deadly Blessing (also features Sharon Stone).
