Josie wasn’t trying to escape, or to kill Melanie. Even if she got out of the interrogation room there was no where to go. She knew the only way to avoid the choice of Layton or Miles was some form of suicide by cop, and it had to be done in a way that didn’t implicate Till.

Ruth met a Mr Wilford, so some sort of Wilford existed before the freeze.

Quintessentially golden age, and yet pretty much the same thing Lena tried on Supergirl this season.

If no one can recognise Supergirl why would they be able to figure out who Tigress is?

The thing is, the drawers are far from functional. It’d be different if they were the pods from Alien, but these are still human experiments. Layton was in there for a couple days and it looked like he was developing gangrene, and it’s hard to believe their teeth would survive those rotting gums.

Either way, they’ll all be dead without Melanie.

I don’t think Melanie is keeping Wilford alive, I think she is Wilford and always has been. Early on I thought she and a few others were keeping him alive, but in this episode she says “I designed it, I can fix it.” That’s not really something you would expect from the head of Hospitality. I think she built the train

Probably won’t happen this season (unless it’s a cliffhanger/post-credits scene in the season finale). The marketing showed a JSA comprised of Stargirl, S.T.R.I.P.E., Hourman, Dr. Mid-Nite, and Wildcat, so everyone’s accounted for.

So Beth is the team nerd? Okay that actually is an important role to fill. Hope she is up to the standards of Cisco, Felicity, Winn, and Luke.

I feel like some of the new DC shows have chosen to really accelerate the plot action in their first seasons. I think Batwoman did that this season too. I don’t necessarily think it is a bad choice but I would not personally mind if they took a little more time and gave characters a bit more room to breathe out of the

So why the rush to introduce all the JSA replacements? You’d think in a show called Stargirl they would take some time to establish Stargirl but I guess not. I thought the Yolanda stuff was good last week but it felt way to fast to introduce her as Wildcat and then shove her into the costume. And now this week we’re

Why American Television’s go-to move is to turn anything into a police procedural?
Guy wakes up with no memory but all the knowledge in the world? Better solve murders.
Lucifer comes to Earth? Ends up working with the police.

This is the one that lost me. Melanie letting the kid off the hook literally makes no sense. It would be one thing if that was the final decision, but the show makes a point of also finding LJ guilty, so it basically wants to have its cake and eat it too, which would describe much of Snowpiercer’s uneven writing so

A very tall building, even. I mean, if the suit has super landing powers, that is something you could test.. from the first floor. Not the 6th!

Not to be too defensive for the CW, but those shows get better grades because they come closer to what they are reaching for. They aren’t great art, but they know what they are and they stick the landing way more than the CoA creators are doing here.

My stout, hardy, 7 year old cat has been suffering from extremely sensitive skin caused by an inflammation. Could barely stand being petted. So I took Zorro to the vet and it seems a course of steroids are in his future as well as something that took me aback; washing his whole body with a medicated shampoo..... as in

But Sasha’s dead fiancee was a junkie, making it somewhat more likely (but not a certainty) that he uses drugs as well- that’s two unconnected drug references with him from different characters’ stories. I believe this will come into play later.

We lament the divided nature of our country, but, really, what “middle ground” are we hoping to find? It’s a myth.

No, it isn’t.

It’s not the “divided nature” of our country we lament. It’s the stupidity, as the show reminds us.

Also Birds of Prey’s Dina Meyer, AKA Batgirl.

Season 2 is the best, IMO.
