Honestly, I think we needed a mention or a shot of G’iah and Fury doing a mind-meld-xerox face copy or whatever to explain the end monologues. Then we could be like, “Oh Fury really does feel that way because G’iah scanned him, real Fury just would never say that shit out loud.”

I’ve liked everything MCU has done, even stuff people hated like Dark World. Now those were varying degrees of like, but I still liked them. Secret Invasion is a first for me. It’s not good. By any means. It’s incredibly bland and dull. It keeps saying its a “spy thriller” yet displays none of the characteristics to

If this is the best writing a human can do, then bring on the AI overlords and tell the WGA guys to find work at the Starbucks they are walking by.

Do I mean Bradstreet or Barsanti?

Yes.

I thought it was going to be about flan.

The actor who loses it on Arondir in the bar is also Theo’s friend whom Theo shows the blade. I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy turned out to be some sort of servant of Sauron.

I got into this episode more than the first one. It was refreshing for this type of show to eschew action and violence and tell a character-based story. Sure, you could say they didn’t do anything new with the story and dialogue, but I was involved because of the actors, especially Paddy Considine, and the breakout

Season 4 character pairing rankings

Yeah you’re just weird or pretending to be moral

Arcane was good!

I agree with the idea of them pimping up their rides after scoring a gig as foot-soldiers for La Boba Nostra but I still think the shiny chrome look is just so out of place for Tatooine. If they were weathered up a bit, I wouldn’t have such an issue but they just looked like they were transplanted from a different

It was a Sandtrooper, you can tell by the pauldron, which fits the locale. It seems like Jabba might enjoy feeding to the Sarlacc those who want to bring Imperial rule to his lands.

Who knows how long the Stormtrooper was in there? It’s supposed to take 1000 years for the Sarlacc to digest someone.

Pretty much the only tease that didn’t pay off in this episode was Alicia Witt’s appearance as Pat’s ex-wife

Beth & Jennie searching the school was a flashback & happened at the same time as The Shade’s rescue of Courtney, Cindy, & Dr McNider last episode

I know they were going for a Batman style disappearing act at the end of the scene with Cindy and Yolanda, but I desperately wished we’d seen Cindy dive headfirst out the window in the background,

For once, a child actor is actually really good! I mean sure, it’s not a nuanced role or anything, but he’s really fluent and natural in a way that a lot of child actors aren’t.

This show is so fucking great. These kids are all likeable in their roles and having both Luke Wilson and Amy Smart as the parents who are both always very likeable as well is such good casting.

I have a strong feeling that Pat used the implied hint of violence with Matt rather than actually doing anything serious. Matt was already freaking out when Pat reached for the wand to close the blinds, I doubt he needed more convincing after his teenage nephew beat the crap out of him. Hell all Pat had to do was

- Max having a run at the house while the “Too Sexy” song playing in the background was one of the funniest scenes in the entire Arrowverse.

- HOPE! I called it. I was right (for once).
- So Dr. McNider IS blind.
- Beth receiving both internal and external affirmation this season. Nice.
- I’m guessing that when Jennie is needed to defeat Eclipso, that darkness will turn against her. But it’d be nice if that attracts Todd to her.
- What is the deal with Jakeem
