And that could still be taken a step further when people who take the bus act like that makes them not obscenely wealthy, when in many parts of the world, people have to save up for months and walk for miles to be able to ride a bus.

...but if “He likes living in Los Angeles, and can afford to continue to do so” is exactly what Pike has made a fortune from criticizing and claiming that needs to be destroyed, then of course those who believed in his message and supported him will also think that “He likes living in Los Angeles, and can afford to…
You made me really want to read it. Comixology has Starman (1994-2001) #0 - #36. Is that the one?
I thought, from watching “Into the Wild” that if you killed an animal in the wild, you have mere seconds to ...err... “process?” it, before it gets spoiled. So, would that goat still be edible after they walked all the way back to camp?
Eclipso was being handled by a kid, who probably did not provide as much power, and the victim was a little girl who stole a present, not a woman who had been building up murderous hatred for years. So maybe he did not consume the girl as completely as Cindy’s mom.
Not only the cinematography and setting, also the dialogues. Goodness! I had forgotten how much I love the writing on this show!
I thought that Rachel hadn’t believed the story of the accidental killing.

But unfortunately he was entitled to his constant complaints. That’s the most basic element that keeps all society together: legal contracts. If you enter into a legal contract, it doesn’t matter if the other person is rich, it doesn’t matter if the other person is poor, it doesn’t matter if the other person is nice…
The tape on the eyes is what would be wrong. When AoT cast a whole city of Germans with an all-Japanese cast, none of the Japanese actors felt that they had to tape their eyes in or do anything t their eyes. They just acted their roles and you don’t even think about it during the movie.
It only works in urban areas, apparently.
I don’t know. When I saw the baby eating the eggs, I went, “WAH!!” and everyone watching there with me went, “WAH!!” And next day, at the office water cooler, everyone was talking exclusively about that and about how they went, “WAH!!” which, I think, was the whole point of the scene.
I think it’s a useful parenting rule of thumb that you never leave any baby, no matter how good the baby may be, alone with the eggs of another sentient being. It will obviously always end the same way. Babies are babies!
I actually like this show more now than I did the last time there was a thread about it here.
So people are disowning the show for those things, none of which happened on the show? That’s why I only watch shows and not panels and stuff. Not only are they usually full of spoilers, but the people behind the art will never live up to the art. Nor should they.
After all these years, Pat was finally so close to getting the Sidekick of the Year award, after that fight with Grundy, and then ...Mike. XD
25 million deaths make it pretty cut and dry. ...but what if it hadn’t been 25 million? What if it had been 25? (Especially considering that those 25 would die from resisting so hard against acting like responsible, decent humans)
Haha, yes, at the beginning, Mike was complaining about being treated like a kid while playing with the powerdrill every time Pat tried to converse. “Then, stop acting like a baby!!” and 5 minutes later he was becoming the episode MVP by playing with that same drill.
The solution is right there, throwing mind-mushing lightning straight at his brain right about now. During the fight someone damages the machine in even the slightest way and insta Brainwave-brain-puree.
She seems really committed to being evil. I think she’ll get to be the big bad at least once before this show is over. Something like Merlyn in Arrow, who ended up being a powerful ally just about as much as he continued to be a devastating enemy and never to be fully trusted nor distrusted?
