But Superman has existed for many years there. People didn't have to build their expectations of Supergirl from zero. They just had to project the ones they had built over the years of reading what Superman does.

Oh no, for the next 24 hours, your arrows will be just… regular arrows!

And I wouldn't be so mad at him if he was just a travelling sermoner passing by and speaking his mind. But the fact that he has a personal interest in Kara and phrased everything as if he was looking down at the scene from above… such a freaking hypocrite!

They both do. Kara needs to start expanding her circle of friends beyond that office.

Solid in the sense that he could barely move his facial features?
:P

On the plus side, if the actor decides to do something else, the character can continue unchanged. And they can probably continue to improve the model on every appearance like they did with the CW multipurpose CG gorilla.

I didn't think they'd actually go for someone that big. I considered he had become an even bigger name than Supergirl already.

I agree with you partially. I don't even think this is really a Supergirl show. Considering her age, her line of work, etc. this is really a Superman show where the names and the character's face are cleverly replaced in order to be able to get the license for TV. And, as such, this really gets what a Superman show

It is billions of light years better.

But you don't see this kind of writing in Spectacular Spiderman, which was clearly aimed at kids.
You don't even see this kind of writing in My Little Pony(FiM) (most of the time)!

That fact that they would so casually murder an innocent mother and her two children just on the slight suspicion that Frank might have some info, and the fact that Frank and Juliana are still breathing seem so incompatible to me. The fact that they are still walking around unsupervised is completely incredible.

Let's not be hard on him. He probably just forgot that she existed until the therapist brought her up.

She started saying da-da precisely on the day when she first set eyes on a Lockhart. Coincidence?

IIRC it's about 1.5% bone mass loss per month, that would be about 54% of his original bone mass gone. Might be around 30% if he has privileged genetics and a great exercise program.

Every time they blow up something, I look up, hoping that Phil's brother might see it.

Oh, gotcha!

I think it's just because she calls her "daughter" and calls all her other clippers Tilda's "sisters."

I think quality is a little more than that. I think quality needs to achieve both "succeeding in what it's trying to do" and also "trying to do something that is close to its apparent potential."

I was thinking Wes Bentley… at least in her Tilda look.
