Because Kelly would have detected anyone hiding in or around Nick's house and wouldn't have brought Diana in. And they needed a whole army at arm's reach to take down Kelly. And they couldn't risk anyone witnessing the attack.

I was really surprised when they showed that it was actually his own voice.

You're putting the serialized arc over the day-to-day cast dynamics of the show, which is something the show has never done and has proven, time and again, that it is not particularly well equipped to do.

and who's to say that Jack the Ripper wasn't into random muggings?

When you said "swapping places for Bitsie and Claire Coffee" I had the most horrible vision of the Royals taking Juliette off to Europe on a disconnected arc for a whole season.

I was picturing just what kind of mess they would have been in, if he had been forced to shoot the Captain dead in his own office, right then and there.

Sorry, I've never been able to tell how you're supposed to figure out the billing order.

…but no, the first thing that came into his mind at the sight was… Adalind ????

They were all afraid that Jack might not leave in the few seconds that they could keep Renard "dead" unless they really scared him. They did say, "we'll have to put in quite a performance."

Actually, I do have a bit of sympathy for Adalind because of Juliette. If the force of hexenbeistism is so strong and so evil as to dominate even Juliette, then I can't blame Adalind that much for being as evil as she was.

Don't all screensavers have to move, like, by definition?

She only did because she trusted Juliette so much.

True, but Adalind is the one character who has been portrayed as not really ever loving anyone… until her baby.

No, not that creepy! I still have nightmares! :)

Being the worst actor on that particular set is not a great insult. Whatever faults the show may have, at least four of the regular actors border on phenomenal.

They handed Renard the glass with the potion? Again? And knowing there was a 50% chance that he was EvilRenard? DO THEY LEARN NOTHING?!

…according to the overwhelming majority of the viewers?

Using the Atom suit as an example is really unfair, after 3 seasons of VFX that looked waaay better than their budget gave them any right to be. The one thing that has looked really sub-par in those CW shows.

What? How could you not hate Skylar? He cut out innocent people's brains just to make himself more powerful… and we're supposed to look at his side of the story??

The problem is that all tyrants see their subjects that way…
(OK, except for the evilest ones.)
