Michele was pulling no punches and why should she? This ain't the first rodeo for the queens

"Detox's highlighter eyebrows are… definitely a thing."

Hey don't blame me for your mental state. That's your mom's fault for dropping you on your head.

Yea I'm aware I'm talking to a concern troll

There are plenty of shitty shows out there. It is peculiar that you seem so happy about this one. Hmm…

"canceled without much fanfare by Comedy Central, which claimed that the show “wasn’t resonating,” a statement that is highly debatable."

Excellent? I don't think MLK would approve of such cheerfulness

It's not so much the bad reviews but the tone and words used were really excessive in my opinion. It was overall a dumb mediocre effort but I would say the review grades were pretty ungenerous.

I hadn't read the book when I saw the movie but I do recall thinking that the ending came out of nowhere and didn't make sense. Yes, the "good" witch was shown to be unhappy with her status as the Grand Witch's assistant but even then, what was the point of her transforming Luke back? Her boss was no longer around to

Very successful stand-up act but she's definitely not a household name.

Ugh… Jezebel. Will that shitty website make it out of Gawkers auction sale?

She may have dressed it up as a joke but the bitter tone negated it.

It's true, it's true! We're so lame

Yes I agree that Leslie's character was too close to "oh Lord, feets don't fail me now" minstrel territory. On the whole the movie was OK. Certainly not worth all the energy spent debating it.

"Women no longer funny as Ghostbusters sequel looks increasingly unlikely"

I wouldn’t say it bombed but definitely a pretty mediocre box office so far, considering the budget

"He didn't need to add that the particular slaves who helped build the White House were "well fed and housed"… but it's a far cry from endorsing slavery. "

Not what I said at all. Just like some people are bashing it excessively some people are praising excessively, as counter / balance. Just my feeling.

Beats me. But I guess it's no surprised that a bunch of white ladies declined to touch on the more offensive aspects of Leslie Jones' character

Somehow I keep reading "But Ghostbusters 2 sucked! Where is the outrage there?" I personally like it and as I recall it was a fairly successful film, although the critics rightly pointed out it was too much of the same thing as the original.
