I had completely forgotten about Soul Patrol. Taylor Hicks was definitely the beginning of the end for me, as far as AI goes.
I'm impressed with La'Porsha based on the videos out there. She's too good for this show.

Not too many B-sides get to the top of the charts (well, #2 actually)

"why not a bald Britney." Yes! This would have been awesome. Maybe he's too big a fan to go for Britney at her lowest point.

I was a toddler when Causing a Commotion came out and I also think it's a great song! It's got plenty of beat to work with but there is no obvious reference so I think it's a great challenging song. Why all the hating?

I think Jinx may be considered a polished camp queen? Edited: Polished of course in terms of the performance, not the outfits!

I see people turning on Bob already. Hopefully she doesn't get Minjed out of a deserving win although to be honest she does seem like she can't turn Bob off, ever. She should take some notes from Bianca del Rio

I see a lot of people saying Thorgy will be the surprise "early" boot. I don't particularly like her style but she's too strong a contestant to see that happening.

"How much richer Kennedy’s impersonation of Little Richard was last season." eh, her Little Richard got very monotonous after a while. She gets credit for taking the risk first but I don't see how much richer or funnier she was vs. Thorgy.

My first thought on Negan's outfit: I guess the Saviors killed The Village People at some point during the zombie apocalypse.

Debby Harry threw her a lifeline.

Betty was giving some BabyFarks McGeezaks from South Park realness

Hate to tell you this but I get the feeling Derrick will actually last one or two more episodes beyond Snatch Game. Just based on her whole drama with Bob. They'll end up working together on a team and the wigs will fly.

I just saw Michelle's speech and yes, the full critique was nurturing and far more helpful than what was shown.

True. But I think for this week's theme it was a perfect fit and she did it perfectly. As opposed to last week where I think her look was too forced and had one too many things on her head.

We know Bob is a student of RPDR but I think her reactions were honest and not so much trying to create a story for herself. She came across as pretty damn thin-skinned.

Yup! although I think Adore was a little quicker on her toes.

I don't think it's a fluke necessarily, but that runway theme of red carpet was better suited for her aesthetic (Southern / pageant drag). I don't think she can navigate themes as well as some of the other top contenders. We shall see! I like Chi Chi and hope she sticks around.

Agreed. Chi Chi's lack of resource is a handicap but she did willingly enter the competition. If she doesn't have enough resources she needs to use creativity and adaptability, as you well stated. Unfortunately I don't think Chi Chi has the ingenuity or fashion sense to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Her fierce

I still think his version of Dawn of the Dead is pretty awesome but agree with you on this

Now that Michael Bay has run out of robots to smash, Zack Snyder is the critics preferred punching bag. And honestly he deserves a lot of it. No amount of crap he gets from critics will absolve him from Watchmen
