Agree with that. What America calls overlanding is really just putting a RTT on a trophy truck or rock crawler. Very few Americans look to do actual long distance overlanding trips.

A part of me is kind of saddened that, somehow, the overlanding craze in North America has bypassed Nissan.  I would really love to see more overlanding Armadas considering the Patrol’s overseas legacy.
