Used Lotus Elise.

They really do hold their value. And yes, the LC is simply designed to last longer and take more abuse than a 4Runner. It’s most something that’s obvious during, say, a week of possession for a review. But it’s absolutely something that’s obvious over 10+ years of ownership.
Completely agree. I didn’t want to spend the money on a 200 series, but I’m thinking that will be the GX 460’s replacement.
You should revisit the Land Cruiser. I have the fancy version of the 4Runner (Lexus GX) and the Land Cruiser is my dream SUV. Sure there are nicer options out there if you’re just looking for a mall crawling, but when it comes to going out into the bush, the Land Cruiser is where it’s at.
Thanks for nailing it. A reality TV trailer is exactly what this article felt like.
As a patent attorney, I must request that y’all stop working yourself into a tizzy over patent filings. Most of the technology described in the filings will never see the light of day. And even if they do, it probably won’t be in the most complicated forms described in the patent.
Depending on where he is in LA, a Raptor would also be terrible to park or even fit on some of the streets.
Because they’re docking one game worth of pay from Bell, they’re required under league rules to publicly announce it.
Dakar is probably the bigger trophy.
Normal people like you and me see the price premium commanded by its low miles, realize that every mile will dramatically decrease its value, and go find a nice NSX with 70k miles instead. We need someone that just doesn’t give a fuck to buy this car and drive it.
I owned a Forester for two years before getting a GX460. In that time, I took it everywhere, including being (maybe) the first SJ Forester to do the entire Mojave Road: https://overland.kinja.com/crossoverlanding-adventures-mojave-road-pre-trip-and-1793199851
Overlanding as traditionally understood. However, the bastardized version of “overlanding” (which really is no different than SUV based trail camping) used by Americans and elsewhere typically involves a convoy of friends in SUVs out for a weekend. That activity is kid and family friendly.
A couple RTTs would pull a premium one week before Overland Expo.
A great way to save Williams from running last.
The original Neon is notable as the last French style compact car sold in the US.
I wanted a Lusso for the styling, but got an Abarth. The reason is the Sport button that only comes with the Abarth. The throttle response to blips (for heel and toe) is almost nonexistent for a 124 without a Sport button and it feels utterly terrible. The Sport button makes a HUGE difference and is the first thing I…
I’m shocked that you don’t find the sight of rust displeasing. Shocked! Well, not that shocked.
Mazda tried selling the 5 and it didn’t catch on. Because Americans are idiots.
Counterpoint: Mission Winnow is a huge marketing success for PMI because everyone is talking about it. Before, nobody knew what it was and just shrugged and went on with life. Now, with all the outrage over Mission Winnow, the associations of Ferrari = cigarettes is all over F1 news. Mission accomplished for…
This is true. I should have clarified that what I meant is it keeps people in a full time 5 days a week job. Companies steal talent from each other all the time. Most employees are replaceable. What matters is to keep the pool consistent and predictable and prevent employees from leaving that pool.
