Point still stands.
Point still stands.
"Seriously, there's no point in dressing up like a character if you look nothing like that character."
No. But link with a green tunic and phrygian cap does.
So if an asian girl put amazing attention to detail on her Meryl costume, it would all be a waste? That's ridiculous.
Nope. At least not if you're original point was " Seriously, there's no point in dressing up like a character if you look nothing like that character."
Okay, I'm back. I probably won't reply frequently or possibly again, because:
Got an errand to run. I'll reply later.
True. But for the record, I'm sure there are a few girls that are into people like that. Also, there's actually an explanation as to why he's such sociophobe. After being left by Ellone when he was a small child, he vowed not to get close to anyone in fear of getting hurt.
" But if the love story that is the centerpiece of your narrative only makes sense if you can see one scene that you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to watch, that's still terrible writing."
You encounter him at the end of every disc, save the fourth one. That's excluding the torture scene. How many more times do you encounter Sephiroth in FF7(not necessarily through battle)? Do you really need to see the antagonist every five minutes for it to be good writing?
This is a bit more realistic than you think, lol. Ever heard of attraction to "bad boys?" It might not be as prevalent today, but it was a pretty big trope back in the nineties.
Don't see how. I thought the rivalry between Squall and Seifer was a strong enough conflict for me.
I'd say Squall was more of an asshole rather than emo. People really like to throw that word around nowadays. Doesn't emo imply that the person whines and is constantly needy? I didn't really see any of that. Quite the opposite, actually, since he made sure not get close to anyone. There's an alternate cutscene just…
I didn't see too much of a need of an obvious main villain. The story seemed to focus primarily towards the characters themselves, which I found quite likable(except Selphie).
quick question, then. How many gf's did you get? This alone requires a ton of exploration.
"It was lacking in exploration department"
I find it really hard to play past the demo, fearing that I'm only going to get more of the same. Add to the fact that I'm going to pay sixty bucks for something I'm far from guaranteed to enjoy. I'm playing through DMC1 right now, and I agree that it would've benefited from keeping itself consistent. Even so, they…
I really don't see how Nero is whiny or emo(is it the hair?), because there's not an ounce of self pity or unjustified anger. He's actually more of a cookie cutter shonen manga protagonist with a short temper, which doesn't actually bother me since he belts out a couple of good cheesy wisecracks from time to time. As…
And you at least have control of your whole party!
Have a nice lunch! Hope you choke on it, douche. :)
