Ha, and I was wondering if it was “Mad City Mitsubishi”.... I actually feel bad for any respectable Mitsubishi dealers these days.

That’s.... a lot.

Incentivizing people to buy something they can’t afford never can have any adverse consequences, right? Right?

wow. $32.32/hr equates to about $70k/years.

Ford sells a lot of cars in Europe because they have an entire European arm of the company dedicated to designing cars for sale in Europe. We actually get more of these Ford Europe designed cars here in the States than Europe gets Ford America cars.

It’s so funny that they think he ISN’T a coastal elite. The douche was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple.

Last time he was somewhat engaged with the world around him was probably when Renaults were still sold here, so this checks out.

And I’m sure Trump has literally zero idea that’s the case. “He was technically correct even though he has no idea what the hell he’s talking about” isn’t an acceptable bar for a kindergartener, let alone the POTUS.

The bonuses are calculated differently for us than the UAW. For white collar workers, the base bonus is a % of your salary determined by your job grade. After that, half of your bonus is determined by company performance, the other half individual performance.

UAW members have probably forgone about $2,000 of profit-sharing”

For matches, it’s fairly common for a flat cap. Google caps 401k match to $8,250. I’ve also been at a very very very large entertainment company (take a wild guess on which one) that did a flat $5K contribution, at least in my business unit.

Shit. If my high school guidance counselor had told me that I could be making $58,240 a year without any overtime, with a GED and zero certifications after only 4 years the assembly line, I’m not sure I would have finished high school.

How does their 401k contributions work?  Wouldn’t that be percentage based, so it wouldn’t require any inflation adjustments?

I’ve never had a mirror fail except for impact damage and a camera or screen can fail just by sitting there, but sure. Why not? I just hope consumers aren’t stupid enough to buy a car that only has a camera for a side view mirror. Hahahaha! Of course they are. This is a terrible idea.

I get that auto workers want job “security” since many of them have worked there for decades. You don’t want to be thrown out at the end on your duff when you’re in your 50's. But honestly, there is a lot of myopic thinking and entitlement views coming from so many of these Rust Belt workers. Sure GM and other

Many manufacturers will take what is essentially the same engine and change things like cam profiles and tuning to better match the application. A sporty car can have the engine configured and tuned for more upper end power at the expense of low end torque while the crossover will prefer and lower and wider torque

So uh....

This is such a stupid waste of time and resources. Companies agreeing to go further to exceed the requirements of the government isn’t a crime. It’s taking action. This is so stupid.

after your phone is set up it works the same way as a proximity key

If Kristen actuay read through the literature on this, it does. Your phone is a passive key. No more key ring. Just Bluetooth on your phone. Of course you still get two passive keys with the vehicle.
