Still not as many as the Challenger

Ford doesn’t make the Demon. The statement clearly states it’s the most powerful street legal car FORD has ever made. May I suggest some more coffee? Lol

I understand that but part of me thinks it should not apply to the timing of pit stops. The pit crew is part of the team, if they can get the car back on the road quicker that’s part of the talent/skill of the overall team.

How is this possible? Wouldn’t he notice the oil pouring out when he went to fill it?

There are skilled tradesman with more transferable skills that don’t make that much (carpentry, plumbing, etc.). If you get laid off from an auto factory your job prospects are less than other blue collar jobs. The UAW is corrupt but I guess I gotta hand to them for getting good salaries for their members.

This is why the Big Detroit 3 exit the sedan market. Along with falling sales they can’t make a profit on them when they pay workers this. The UAW has twisted the arms of the manufacturers for more money while the union members actually do less work over the years.

I would probably hate crossovers less if they weren’t half covered in plastic cladding. It’s like baby proofing the exterior of a car.

I’m absolutely flabbergasted by the idea they are easier to get in and out of. Every crossover and SUV I have to essentially hop out of (admittedly I’m short, 5’4”). One bad day I would be spraining something. My sister is 5’1” and drives a newer escape. It’s comical watching her get out. To me if I can’t put my foot

The cladding around the wheel wells needs to go. This Buick is the worst offender of it. I understand that the outback and Audi allroad also have this but the weird additional bump at the top of the cladding is too much.

This I think is an important thing to mention. I live in apartment in the suburbs and I don’t see them ever installing charging ports for residents. You basically need to be a homeowner for an electric car to make sense.

Admittedly no one paid that. When it was first introduced it started at $34k and went to $40 with options. But incentives were always large on them anyway. 325 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque is compelling at $30k

Considering it’s right as an intersection I’m guessing she was trying to make a right onto that road while not being in the right-most lane.

Not what I am saying. My point was even though the Edge sells less it’s profit margin is more important and the R&D cost was essentially split between the sedan and CUV.

Totally agree about the profit margin. but I read it as gaining market share and Ford had a decent chunk of the midsize sedan market.

I think it’s important to look more at platforms. The Escape is Focus based while the Edge is on Fusion platform. With that being said the profit margin is higher on the Edge than the Fusion while sharing the same platform.

Agreed, they were selling over 300,000 annually for a 2-3 years. That’s not a small number.

Well sales numbers are going to look dismal when you keep changing the alphanumeric names and trims. Cadillac needs to pick a hierarchy plan and stick with it.

But Cadillac did follow BMW and Audi by offering the V Sport trim below the true V. And the outgoing CTS V sport has more power than the new CT5 V, I don’t get it

No, it’s smaller than the Blazer. Just to add to the confusion.

That’s because salaries haven’t kept pace with the rising cost of cars or houses.
