Unfortunately a good portion of this is not on the manufacturer. A dealership is like a franchise licensed to sell and service Fords, Chevy's, Toyota's etc. None of those salesmen, finance people etc. are employees of the manufacturer.

Obviously car sales are down but Ford has already ended production of the Focus and Taurus. Can’t sell what you don’t build/keep in stock compared to last year.
It’s amazing sometimes to see what people get paid to research/study/consult on.
I’m not sure I agree with this. There are plenty of people who enjoy manuals and track days. Many track day events are just to enjoy your car in ways you can’t on the street but are not competition based. But upgraded brakes are always a good thing to have on the track regardless.
You are not wrong as to why one of the big 3 cannot purchase Tesla, but I think Tesla is grossly overvalued. It’s all speculation of future value propping up their stock. Ford has the number one selling vehicle in the country that by itself dwarfs all of Tesla’s sales. I’m not a marketing/business person but it’s just…
They could just install parking meters. Chalking tires usually happens on streets where parking is free for up to a certain amount of time. They would probably generate more if they actively metered all those spots.
As a current Focus ST, also bought new, I would trade it in for the new Fiesta ST. It’s so damn enticing I’m willing to go smaller.
True but MagneRide was already an available option on the Ecoboost PP starting in 2018. I feel like for this new package they should have made it standard.
When I was a kid my mom had a early 90’s Plymouth Sundance (one of the many K-cars) that had a red interior and the exterior was red. Just a sea of red.
Admittedly very few people buy manuals but the EyeSight excuse is poor. Other manufacturers have their new safety tech work with manuals, Honda Sensing for example.
I think automatic BRZs have a traditional auto. But I’m sure that’s from the Toyota parts bin or something.
That is why I said many are marginally higher. The Sub compact class like the EcoSport offers little in ground clearance and additional sight.
Honestly that just proves how stupid consumers are. The EcoSport gets worse mileage, has less room, and is more expensive than the now discontinued (at least in the US) Focus hatchback. And Ford is not the only one doing this, the Mazda CX-3, Chevy Trax, and several others are more expensive and less practical than…
I think you can still get the Tacoma with the V6 and a stick.
The woman helping him with poker is killed in the movie later that night after being painted head to toe in gold paint. The actress who died is her sister that Bond meets later. Fun fact: in the movie she drives a Ford Mustang and is the Mustang’s first appearance in a movie.
There is no Escape (or Kuga) ST. Europe has a Kuga ST-line which is just some sporty body pieces, nothing mechanically sporty.
There is no reason to drive into Manhattan for well over 90% of people that work there. My father rode the train into manhattan for years. I can assure you this does not impact the average commuter.
Honestly, this is a catch-22. Some people would like to browse a bit before being bombarded with salesmen. It may be possible that dealer operated that way, but who knows.
Ah, I did not realize the link provided addressed that.
The Silverado is built in the US and Mexico. Someone check the VIN of the Silverado up on display there.
