The Forester has a rather tall roof compared to overall length so I wouldn’t consider it a wagon. I think it was Car and Driver that had an article last year diving into proportions that classify cars as wagons. All subjective of course, but an interesting read.

I may be the minority, but I preferred the look of it’s corporate cousin, the Saturn Sky.

Funny you mention that. A friend of mine has an Accord with the CVT. She heard a funny noise coming from it and had the dealer take a look/listen. Honda and/or the dealer elected to just replace the whole transmission under warranty.

Nothing can be worse than the placement of the SS badge on the current Camaro.

Yes, A-plan is for direct employees. X-plan is for friends/family of direct employees and maybe dealer employees? Not sure about dealer employees. But I had the same thing happen. I bought a Focus ST and the price I negotiated was better than the X-plan I received from my old roommate who is an Ford engineer in

Considering it will be built alongside the Ranger it will probably be more related to that than the Explorer.

This is my number reason for not buying an electric car (not that I have the means to do so now anyway). Just make it look like any other car or suv on the market today. I don’t what to drive something that is designed to shout “look at me, I save the planet”.

As a Pennsylvanian currently living in the Midwest, I miss Sheetz and Wawa.

Unions are not part of a company. The employees are. The union is there to supposedly represent them for their best interests. And for decades that has not always been the case.

If I had to take a guess, Ford argues the clearance lamps are better off on the fenders since they are so much wider than the width of the roof.

At least in the US, all vehicles that will be driven on public roads, even engineering prototypes, are issued VINs. So it is possible to have a vehicle not-saleable to have a VIN.

Had no idea it was that rare. I distinctly remember parking next to one several years ago and thinking “huh, didn’t realize there was a manual, neat”

Ford is dropping the ST’s because the are dropping the Focus and Fiesta lines. The Focus ST sold fairly well, but they can’t justify selling the next generation here because they won’t be selling the regular Focus. The cost to harmonize the car for US regs is typically partially spread across all trims. Financially it

I thought the 3 row Jeep was going to be the wagoneer. Or will they have 2 such SUVs in their lineup?

Yeah I am thinking more of FF2 and Tokyo drift, but there was also chasing Johnny tran’s guys through the streets, and some other driving weaving in and out of traffic where you would have had to slow down.

Obviously, not blaming the insurance company. Just stating a fact.

I know the F&F shifting thing is an on-going joke. But I always assumed they showed downshifts as well. A good number of the races, at least in in the older movies, did in fact include turns.

The only problem with that is it may transfer fault to you when you file an insurance claim. My mom once swerved to avoid a guy who had crossed a double yellow. She hit gravel and spun into a telephone pole. The cop and her insurance both told her (with regards to at-fault) she was better off letting the guy hit her.

Dealerships are no different then the majority of McDonalds restaurants. Most McDonalds restaurants are franchise owned. Some person owns the storefronts and is licensed to sell you McDonalds product, but McDonalds has a relatively loose control over the storefront. Dealers are the same way but they magnify the

Just yesterday i parked next to a Ram 2500. I noticed it’s side view mirror was above the roof of my midsize sedan!
