That’s not a Raptor, just a regular Ranger

I think a majority of Ranger customers are just looking for a smaller pick-up from Ford. They may lose some sales from the likes of the ZR2 and TRD Pro. But the Ranger will be off-road capable enough for 99% people.

Neither Toyota or Chevy have a Raptor-like version of their bigger trucks. I think Ford is worried about cannibalizing sales of the F-150 Raptor.

Some states require yearly safety inspections, separate from emissions. Mileage could easily be recorded then. I for one think safety inspections should be mandatory. I currently live in a Midwest state that doesn’t and I see the scariest death traps on the road.

Counterpoint, I’m 5’4” and hate jumping out of vehicles. Even damn crossovers I can’t put my foot down without having to essentially slide off the seat first. I like having solid footing before standing up and out. I’m only 29 and don’t see a higher seating position as a positive when I’m older, I think it will be

It does do one thing way worse than the Focus, fuel economy. My fiancée had her 2014 focus hatchback in for warranty work and they gave her an EcoSport as a loaner. She averaged 10 mpg less while she had it. She hated it all around honestly but fuel economy was embarrassing.

The beginning of this article is confusing. The first guy did not buy a Blazer for $16,000, If he put down $3390 and the loan was for $9198. I understand he would have ultimately paid $16,000 after the interest accrued but the way it’s written I read it as the purchase price was $16,000.

Totally agree, we had a EcoSport loaner while my fiancé’s Focus hatchback was getting some warranty work done. Less cargo room and less mpg, even she hated it and she isn’t an enthusiast. I imagine the same can be said about the CX-3 and the Mazda3 hatchback. The CX-3 has nothing behind the rear wheels, I imagine the

Won’t matter. The Southern State Parkway on Long Island dates back DECADES, and has many low clearance over passes. Trucks get stuck under them constantly. The funnier part is they are all arches, so the clearance stated isn’t even the true clearance. Most smaller trucks get one side caught.

I realize now I screwed this joke up. It’s steak or fish, not chicken or fish. D’oh

“The choices were chicken or fish”

Subaru can’t seem to build Crosstreks fast enough. The tariff I understand, but if that gets turned around I think this is an opportunity missed by Ford.

Regardless what the actual price is Trump shouldn’t be quoting it when talking about tariffs. The price difference isn’t solely due to tariffs, China has lots of consumer taxes on vehicles including strict expensive ones related to emissions and engine displacement. He’s either too stupid to know that or doesn’t care

And that’s the problem with quoting a price at all. Even with no tariff a Camaro still costs a lot in China due to their consumer taxes based on mpg, emissions, and one even for engine displacement. I bet Trump honestly thinks the price difference (whatever price he thinks it is) is solely due to tariffs.

Compounded by the fact that Trump expects the Japanese and German auto makers to build vehicles in the US that they sell in the US (many of which already are). But when Harley wants to assemble bikes in their growing market he throws a fit. Tariffs aside, I don’t understand the mental gymnastics to expect foreign

There is no Fusion (Mondeo) ST, even in Europe. They do have the ST-line trim which is similar to the M package, V series, S-line, etc. that the luxury brands have. All show but none of the go.

I could have sworn every Honda Accord had Honda Sensing standard, even the manuals.

It’s called Gung Ho. Stars Michael Keaton who’s character convinces a fictional Japanese car company to open an assembly line in a Pennsylvania town.

This is a highly underrated movie lol

When I heard that I immediately thought “what about the ones built in Alabama?” Probably has no idea there are Mercedes built here.
