Don’t agree? Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

It is really about what a person’s priorities are more than how they are wired. Like how much free time they have to further a skill or hobby and what kind of skills or hobbies they want to pursue. For me, I spend six months a year traveling for work. So when I have an opportunity I work on those hobbies that are a…
If someone is trying to use RB or GH as a method of learning the guitar or bass, then I fully agree with you. They should just pick up a guitar, take some lessons, practice, practice, practice, and can get Rocksmith for the assistance if they want.
My main guitar is a 27” 8-string guitar. You think that could be the problem? I’ve got a fairly beat up 6-string that I don’t use anymore. Rocksmith doesn’t appeal to me enough to make me stray from my main setup lol
Yeah, I was actually trying Rocksmith on my PC.
“Should I attack your underling employees?”
Ah, a hint of psychosis in the morning.
I play the hell out of Rocksmith on Steam, PS3 and PS4 but I still want this.
That’s cool but can I get a bunch of friends together in one room and simulate a full band experience with Rocksmith? ‘Cos I can with Rock Band, and do regularly.
I agree! Except for the slamming them for playing with plastic guitars, people enjoy it.
Rock Band 3’s Pro Guitar mode was so much better than Rocksmith. It’s a shame those Pro Guitars were rare and expensive then abandoned for RB4.
No, but remember all the crap that came with this game too. The delusional kids playing this and the amount of money thrown at this game. It was awful. I think activision is the real problem.
Wait, what? I’ve just gone from mildly disappointed to majorly irritated.
You neglected to mention the biggest problem: No online play. This is a monumentally stupid decision. I specifically bought this to jam with friends who live far away. I’m old, I have a kid, I can’t have a bunch of drunken revelers over to party like used to. Online band/touring was literally the biggest reason I was…

I spent an ass load on GH and RB then I picked up RockSmith and then upgraded to RS2014 and I am not one bit interested in those plastic guitars any more. Using RS I learned to actually play most of the same songs on a REAL guitar and I have now started learning Bass. Spend an hour a day with RS and you will be…
Keep playing with toy guitars. I have Rocksmith.
