It helps to be attractive for any position in front of the camera. Or, generally, in life. None of this is news. I work at a law firm and attractive women generally make it farther. You have to be very good at your job, but all things being equal, an attractive woman will make it further than an unattractive

I don't understand the difference. K & P's audience is overwhelming White just like SNL's.

I did not mean to imply that you referred to me as a child (trust me, I would not be engaging with you if you had—-I am too grown and have worked too hard in my life to be patronized and condescended to like that). I was referring to the OP calling Beyoncé a "pop tart" though Beyoncé is in her 30s and has been a

Sigh. The original poster, whom you quoted, referred to Beyoncé as a "pop tart" which is an expression used for girls. Beyoncé is in her 30s and, to me, it's condescending to call grown people girl/boy/child/tart/etc. Those who have made it to adulthood deserve the respect of being referred to as such

The most vocal criticism she is getting is from Black people which she alludes to in her Twitter response.

I see. Someone does something that you don't like/offends you and then you refer to them as a child. Makes perfect sense to me.

Ummm...ok?

They certainly don't need an invitation to torment yet she gave them one. That was incredibly stupid. In my neighborhood what she did would get her killed, no joke. I hope against hope that she has a plan to protect herself after this. I would be homeschooled for the rest of the year, if I were her, and keep a

There is nothing wrong with my reading comprehension. She called a Black, 32 year old, highly accomplished entertainer, who is also a wife and mother a "pop tart." You call kids a "tart" (i.e., Miley, Selena Gomez, etc.). Not grown women in their thirties who have been in the business for 15 years, who have sung

Those are the two options? Kill oneself or serve tainted food that could make people sick. That girl is going to get her ass whopped the next time her tormentors see her. She did nothing but put herself in more physical danger.

She's a 32 year old woman who's has worked extremely hard and who, in addition to being an acclaimed singer and dancer, also writes and produces music, directs music videos and directed her documentary, acts, and is a wife, mother, and philanthropist. She is not a "tart," pop or otherwise. You don't like her.

She has basically defined musical theater for my generation (I'm in my early 30s). Rent and Wicked. Wicked and Rent. Rent and Wicked. She's beyond incredible and if I were ever in the same room with her I'd probably pass out.

What?! Seriously scratching my head as to who doesn't know Idina. Come on now, you must be joking. She's a freakin' theater goddess, one of the best of her generation. Get real.

This makes me so sad. Brought tears to my eyes.

I spent 12 years as a dancer in leotards with my legs open (it's hard to dance in a pants suit with legs closed). Beyoncé is a dancer. Is she supposed to dance in a track suit while standing perfectly still?

Bill o'Reilly is talking about teen pregnancy. BJs don't lead to babies, last time I checked.

This.

All people with functioning sight are visual people. I prefer guys who look like they are in my age range because I think having lived on the Earth for a bit and navigating life's twists and turns is sexy. You seem to be into firmness and glowing skin that comes with youth. Cool. But you are no more "visual" than
