I really enjoy that show but I thought the acting wasn't all that natural. Tracey Ellis Ross is all kinds of awesome but I thought she mugged too much to the camera/did that bug-eye thing too much. I also thought the writing could have been deeper, even though it was a comedy.

I think he must be a troll. I don 't think it's possible for someone to be so ignorant and offensive by accident.

Are you trolling? Or are you actually this ignorant?

This article does not at all describe what is wrong with the show aside from a couple snide remarks about poor acting. Is that it? I didn't think Girlfriends was Emmy-worthy (nor did the Emmys) but I found it entertaining. Same goes for The Game. I guess I'm not that turned off by less-than-stellar acting.

You are 100% right—-it's rude and gross. Some knucklehead trying to be the "Black Police" telling Black women they aren't "Black enough." I just can't. Black women can't win for losing—-now Black women are chided for not being "Black enough." Sigh.

Huh? So these women aren't "Black" enough for you?

Jillian was overweight growing up.

You've clearly not been on the NYC subway for a while. That woman in the ad looks downright conservative compared to how I've seen folks look on the subway.

But we CAN do something about it. If the objectification of women's bodies in public spaces irks you (as it does me) speak up against it. Email the sponsor of the ad and express your displeasure. Support Gov. Cuomo's initiative to stop these kind of ads from running in our subways (as a NYer my city, state, and

I hate when the Jezzie authors act intentionally obtuse. Parents don't want their children to see a head-less, torso-less, leg-less, white, blonde-haired woman with enormous breasts every time they hop on the subway to get groceries or go to the park. Gee, I wonder why? Perhaps it reinforces to them (and to

Thank you for the response and acknowledgement. It's appreciated.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. It's one of the worse peices of writing I've ever read on this site.

There is no place on Earth less qualified to "school" anyone on racism than Jezebel.

What on God's green Earth is "ironic racism"? Sounds like word salad.

It's called advertising. Not sure why we need to get our panties in a bunch. Most of my friends buy whatever body wash is on sale at Target. But if Dove's campaign gets you to buy their bodywash so be it. If your self-esteem is so impacted by a bodywash company than Dove commercials aren't your biggest issue.

Please change the headline. It's intentionally misleading. You, and your audience, are better than that.

Maybe he was referencing the continent?

Just her mom, I believe.

What a weird comment.

You need to meet better men.
