Exactly. Most comics don't. I don't. My friends who work in stand-up or are comedy writers don't. When at a comedy club we want someone to make us laugh. When I'm paying $15 for a watered down drink and sitting in an uncomfortable chair in a dark, dingy comedy club I want to laugh. That's the only reason I'm there.

Please point out where I argue that the comedy world (or anywhere, for that matter!) is a meritocracy. I don't believe it to be true so I'm scratching my head as to how you arrived at the conclusion that I believe it to be so. Perhaps someone hacked into my Jezzie account and made that statement?

There's no need to "read into" my initial comment. I wrote what I meant. Just take the words as I wrote them.

"Perfectly normal bodies"? Really?

Not surprising; they are good friends.

You are such an impressive Social Justice Warrior (tm).

Yup. Or Scandinavian, morbily obese, with a humpback and a missing pinky finger.

Ummm, ok.

That's not at all the point I was making.

The dividing line isn't about race, it's about funny. It isn't about gender, it's about funny. You have 4 minutes to make me laugh at an open mic. You either made me laugh or you didn't. There are no "bonus points" for being Taiwanese, one-eyed, albino, peg-legged or anything else. You will either kill or be killed on

If you are a comedian you care about funny. That's it. There is funny and not funny. Any comedian regardless of race will tell you that.

I think the point is that for a working model, the cover of the SI swimsuit edition is a huge "get." After that your modeling agency's phone starts ringing off the hook because everyone wants to book you. It's what made Tyra a supermodel. She's, of course, grateful for that.

My observation is that a lot of women do, in fact, enjoy porn. It just perplexes me as to why since I only know it to be misogynistic. But I obviously know very, very little about porn.

I hear that.

Having a kid=/=married to kid's mother.

That makes total sense to me. Porn is obviously incredibly diverse and the porn playing at a frat house or a bar in Brooklyn would obviously be of a certain ilk (not pro-woman). It bummed me out though that women were in those spaces and drinking and laughing about these images of women looking like sex toys for men.

Goodness, that poor girl. To have to carry around with you your whole life that your mom tried to pimp you out. Shudder.

A guy friend of mine told me that pop-ups and malware totally f'd up his computer due to porn sites. He literally had to physically destroy his computer with a hammer (he didn't want his personal info/search history floating around out there!). Does that only happen with certain sites? Would PornHub be considered safe
