Agreed. Has anyone actually seen the Criterion yet? There seems to be a mixed reaction to the picture quality of the new transfer.

King has every right to dislike the film as it is much different than
his book. However, that does not negate the fact that Kubrick's film
(one of the most loved of all horror movies) is far better than the
novel.
