Eh Aces is too obvious. I actually like the idea of changing it to Vegas Nights, sans the K, to reference night life in Vegas. You can go a million ways with the imagery. If they are going to do the Knights, they really need to drop the “Black.” Makes it sound like a college mascot.

Plus, that’s the name of the bar in Slap Shot.

I’m assuming Black Knights are a reference to chess? Is chess really that popular in Vegas or are they trying too hard to avoid gambling references? I would think that Black Aces would be a better name with it’s connection to both Vegas and hockey.

It’s a great name. Wait, we’re talking about an arena football team, yes?
