I read this this morning and it amazed me how many Wapo commenters immediately took it as gospel and how quickly they attacked the person who questioned the survey’s demographic.

Polls are often about wording more than the demographics of respondents.

This is a solid survey as far as can be identified. And the Post itself has been critical of the name so hey - this does soften my disdain for it a bit.

The poll was called into question when 90 out of 100 surveyed found Coldplay an appropriate choice to play at the Super Bowl.

If “Redskins” isn’t offensive, Mr. Pollster, you should use it in your report in place of each instance of “Native Americans” and see how that goes over.
